	They stopped off at Serena's house so she could grab a few things 
and tell her parents where she was going so that they wouldn't worry. 
"Bye Mom! Bye Dad! I'll be home tomorrow around noon!" Serena called 
as she ran out the door. She hopped on the bike behind Darien. "What'd 
you tell them?" he asked curiously. "I told them I was spending 
the night at Mina's," Serena replied nonchalantly. "I take it that 
you lie to your parents about your whereabouts quite often," Darien 
said. "I guess. But only when there is something that I really want 
to do, and I know they wouldn't let me go." "And being with me is 
something you really want to do?" Darien asked, sounding a little 
surprised. "Well, yeah," Serena answered. She held on to Darien tighter as they rode away.

	Darien and Serena rode for over an hour. They finally stopped at 
a beach and got off. "Where are we?" Serena asked. "We're at my 
beach house," Darien replied. Serena looked at Darien in surprise. 
"You have a beach house?!" "Well, yeah. I used to spend my summers 
here with my parents. But that was a long time ago. Anyway, it's 
a nice quiet place where we can be alone." Serena could tell that 
Darien probably didn't want to talk about his parents, so she tried 
to change the subject. "So what do you want to do first?" "Well 
that's up to you Serena. We could swim, play in the water, soak 
in the hot tub, or play monopoly." Serena laughed at the last option. 
	"We could play monopoly, but you'd have to be prepared to lose!" 
Serena replied confidently. "Oh, but you've never played monopoly 
with me. I always win," Darien boasted. Serena laughed. "Race you 
to the beach house!" she took off before Darien could answer. "Hey! 
You cheated!" he laughed. Serena made it there first, but the door 
was locked so she had to wait for Darien to come and unlock it.
	Darien came running up behind Serena. As he was unlocking the door, 
he coughed, "cheater!" under his breath. "I heard that!" Serena 
remarked. Darien laughed and turned on the light. "Wow, it's really 
nice in here," Serena commented. "I think the games should be in 
here..." Darien's voice trailed off as he walked towards the closet. 
He opened the closet doors and began to search for Monopoly. "Found 
it!" he called. He reached up and grabbed the box. 
	Darien and Serena began to set up the game. "I call dibs on the 
thimble!" Serena announced. "But I always use the thimble! It's 
my lucky piece!" Darien protested. Serena laughed. "Well then you 
should have called dibs." "Fine. I'll be the cannon," he said sadly. 
"I'll deal the property, and you can be the banker," Serena said. 
"Why can't I deal the property and you can be banker?" Darien asked. 
"Oh fine. You can deal the property and I'll be the banker," Serena 
replied. "No that's okay. I want to be the banker. I was just teasing," Darien laughed. 
	Serena laughed at Darien's behavior. "You're acting so silly!" 
"Well you bring out the child in me," Darien said with a glittering 
smile. "Oh do you want anything to eat or drink? There is ice cream 
stashed in the freezer. Double chocolate?" Serena perked up. "Ooh! 
My favorite!" Darien got up. "I'll go serve us up some." 
	Darien grabbed the ice cream and came back with the carton and 
a spoon. "No bowls?" Serena questioned. "There are bowls, I just 
thought it'd be funner (yes I know that funner isn't a word, but 
I just prefer saying it over saying "more fun" so deal with it :) 
to eat it the ice cream out of the carton." Darien opened the ice 
cream and took the first bite. "Lady's first," he said while handing 
Serena the dice. "Why thank you," she replied as she rolled. "Ooh, 5." 
	Serena counted aloud as she moved her piece. She looked up to see 
that Darien was staring at her. She was puzzled by him. "Why are 
you staring at me?" "I can't help it. You're beautiful and I can't 
take my eyes off you," Darien answered. Serena blushed. "You can 
be so sweet!" Darien smiled and took another bite of ice cream, 
still gazing at Serena. "Oooh, I wanna bite of ice cream!" Serena 
said excitedly. Darien laughed and raised a spoon full of ice cream 
to Serena. She opened her mouth and he placed the ice cream in her mouth.
	Serena giggled and swallowed the ice cream. "I could get used to 
this."  Darien took another bite of ice cream, and then gave Serena 
another bite. "So are you going to buy it?" he asked. "Buy what?" 
"Reading Rail Road. That's what you landed on," he replied, motioning 
toward the monopoly board. "Oh yeah. Um.. Why don't we play the 
game later? I'm kinda in the mood to soak in the hot tub.." Darien 
swallowed his ice cream. "Sure. Why don't you go change?" 
	Darien got up and showed Serena where she could change into her 
swimsuit, then he went and changed into his trunks. Serena came 
out with her hand holding up her hair. "Um, Darien? Could you tie 
this for me?" Darien entered the room and tied the top of her swimsuit. 
Serena turned around. She took a moment to look at Darien and she 
was impressed. "Wow. You've got a heck of a nice body!" Darien laughed 
slightly and blushed. He lifted Serena into his arms, and they made their way to the hot tub.

	Darien and Serena were soaking in the hot tub. The water was warm 
and soothing. Serena picked up a rubber ducky and squeezed the water 
into Darien's ear. He squealed like a girl and Serena began to laugh 
hysterically. "You think that's funny?" Serena was still laughing 
as she attempted to nod. Darien moved closer to Serena and splashed 
some water on her. The bubbles covered her hair and face and made 
her look like Santa Claus. Darien was laughing as Serena submerged 
herself underwater, and grabbed Darien's foot without him knowing. 
She pulled his foot and Darien slipped underwater. Serena laughed 
and Darien dunked her. The water fight continued until both were 
tired from laughing. Serena's eyes were getting heavy. She scooted 
closer to Darien. "What time is it?" she asked sleepily. Darien 
glanced at his watch. "It's 2 AM. Did you wanna go get ready for 
bed?" Serena shook her head. "Not really. It's nice being in here 
with you." She rested her head on Darien's shoulder and closed her 
eyes. Darien wrapped his arm around her and smiled. 
	He gazed up at the Moon. It was shining brightly. The Moonlight 
shone down on Serena's almost sleeping face. Darien smiled to himself. 
*I'm so lucky to have her.* Serena smiled as she looked up at Darien. 
"I guess I am ready to go in now." "Alright," Darien said as he 
picked Serena up into his arms. Serena placed her head back on his 
shoulder as Darien grabbed two towels. He wrapped a towel around 
Serena and placed her on one of the chairs as he dried himself off 
with the other towel. Darien picked Serena back up and carried her 
into the guest's room. He set her down on the bed and smiled. 
	Serena got up and went into the bathroom to change. She came out 
wearing a long pink night gown. She climbed back into the bed and 
Darien tucked her in. He gave her a sweet kiss good night and turned out the lights as he left.

	Darien couldn't sleep. He wasn't tired. He was trying to straighten 
out his thoughts and feelings, but nothing was making sense. "She 
is so beautiful. She always has been. She is funny, and sweet, and 
she's just so much fun to be with. I think I've fallen in love with 
her, but does she feel the same?" "Why don't you ask her?" Darien 
turned around to see Serena standing in the door way. "How long 
have you been standing there?" he asked. "Well, I woke up and heard 
you talking to yourself. So I came in but was too interested in 
what you were saying to interrupt you." Serena sat next to Darien on his bed.
	"So then are you going to answer my question?" Darien asked nervously. 
Serena reached over and held his hand. "You're handsome, charming, 
and a lot of fun to be with. I love you." Darien's face lit up. 
"I love you too, Serena." He smiled and took her into his arms and 
kissed her passionately. "So what do you want to do now?" Serena 
asked with twinkling eyes. Darien laughed. "Well, we still have 
a Monopoly game to play!" he got up and ran to the board as Serena 
was close behind. "First!" he called triumphantly. Serena laughed 
and sat beside him. "I think it's your turn," she said as she tossed him the dice.

	A few hours later, Serena and Darien were still playing Monopoly. 
"You just landed on Boardwalk with a hotel! That'll be $2,000 Darien," 
Serena said with a smile that said ‘I told you not to mess with 
me.' Darien looked at what he had left. "All I have is $23, and 
a get out of jail free card. Would you be willing to let me off 
the hook?" he asked with puppy dog eyes. Serena giggled. "Sorry, 
but no. I told you that I always win!" "Yeah, well I would have 
won if I'd gotten to use the thimble," Darien reasoned. Serena laughed. 
"Yeah right!" "So, I don't have the money to pay you. You've won 
the game. But I still have my debt. What do I owe you?" he asked with a sly smile.
	Serena couldn't help but laugh. She snuggled closer to Darien and 
smiled. "Some kisses would be nice. Either that or ice cream." Darien 
giggled. "I'll give you kisses now, and ice cream will come later." 
Darien began to shower Serena with kisses when a beeping noise was 
heard. "What's that?" he asked without looking up. "It's my pager. 
Could I use your phone?" "Sure, it's right over there," Darien motioned 
towards the kitchen. Serena got up and made her way to the kitchen where she found the phone.

	She picked it up and dialed the number. "Hello?" "Hi Lita. It's 
Serena. Why'd you page me?" "Serena where are you? Mina, Amy, Raye, 
and I have been waiting. We we're supposed to go to the movies, 
remember?" Lita said in an annoyed tone of voice. "Oh! I'm sorry 
Lita. I forgot. I'm here at Darien's beach house.. What time is 
it anyway?" Lita glanced down at her watch before answering Serena. 
"It's 10 AM. Wait though, I want details on you and Darien! Did 
you spend the night there?" Serena giggled at her friends curiosity. 
"I'll talk to you later. Bye Lita!" Serena smiled as she hung up the phone.

	"That was Lita," she told Darien as she walked back into the room. 
"What did she want?" "She was calling to remind me that I was supposed 
to go shopping with them. Is it really 10?" Darien looked at one 
of the clocks on the wall. "Actually, it is. You told you're parents 
you'd be back by 12 right?" Serena nodded. "Well then you'd better 
go get dressed and then we can ride back."
	Serena rushed to the bathroom and took a quick shower before getting 
dressed. She came out with a towel wrapped around her head as she 
was struggling to find her other shoe. "Darien? Have you seen my 
shoe?" she called out. "It's over here by the door," he replied. 
Serena ran over and put it on before hurrying back to the bathroom 
to do her hair and put on her makeup.
	A few minutes later, she came out and was completely ready. She 
glanced up at the clock to see that it was 10:45 AM. "We better 
get going," Darien said. "Well, wait a second. I don't have to be 
home till 12, and it takes an hour to get to my house.. So the way 
I see it, we still have 15 minutes," Serena reasoned. Darien smiled. 
"I do believe you're right. So how do we want to use those precious 15 minutes?" 
	Serena walked over and sat by Darien on the couch. "We could continue 
what we were doing.." Serena suggested. "I was covering you with 
kisses, right?" Darien said with a smile as he wrapped his arms 
around Serena. "Yeah, I think that was what we we're doing." Darien 
slowly kissed Serena's neck. "Are you sure we only have 15 minutes? 
Couldn't you call you're parents and tell them you're out shopping 
with Lita and the girls?" Darien asked between kisses. "I guess 
I could. But I'll have to warn the girls not to call my house," Serena replied as she got up.

	She called her mom and told her that she'd be out shopping with 
Lita and the girls for a few hours. Then she proceeded to call Lita. 
"Hey Lita?" "Serena! I thought you were gonna get your butt over 
here so we could go shopping!" Lita complained. "Yeah well I'm kinda 
tied up at the moment. I'm gonna be staying here at Darien's for 
a couple hours longer. I told my mom that I was out shopping with 
you guys, so cover for me okay?" Serena begged. Lita laughed. "Okay, 
okay. We'll cover for you. The girls are begging me to ask you something 
though. Would it be okay if we dropped by later? We could all go 
swimming and stuff." "That would be fun! Hold on, let me go make 
sure that's okay with Darien.." Serena set down the phone and got 
Darien. He came and gave Lita the directions. "So I guess we'll 
see you in a few hours then!" Lita said before hanging up. 
	Serena smiled and hung up the phone. "This should be fun." She 
resumed her place in Darien's arms on the couch and said, "We have 
a few hours." Darien smiled. "I only need a few minutes." Serena 
giggled and gave Darien a playful smack. Darien laughed and gave 
Serena a kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck and Darien moved 
his hands down Serena's waist. They kissed so deeply, so passionately, 
it appeared as though they were meant to be together forever. Serena 
closed her eyes as Darien held her tighter and kissed her with all 
his heart. She laid down and Darien laid right behind her. Her proceeded 
to kiss her neck and Serena smiled with delight. She kept her eyes 
closed until she slipped away from everything. Darien kept his arms 
wrapped around Serena as he followed her and gave into his sleepiness.

	 "Hello?" a voice called. There was no answer. The door opened, 
and four girls stepped in. "Hello?" Again there was no answer. The 
girls looked around and didn't see anyone. They stepped further 
into the house and one of them squealed. "Mina? What is it?" the 
other girls followed Mina to see what had caught her attention. 
There they found Serena and Darien laying in each other's arms, 
asleep, on the couch. They smiled in envy. "How cute!" Mina said 
excitedly. The others told her to be quiet. "We don't want to wake 
them," Amy said in a whisper. They stared admiringly at the couple.
	"You girls are here earlier than we though you'd be," Darien whispered. 
"You're awake," Raye said observantly. "I just woke up when I heard 
you guys come in," he replied. "It looks like you two have been 
busy!" Mina exclaimed in a whisper. Darien smiled. " We didn't get 
much sleep last night." He saw the look on the girls' faces, and 
quickly explained, "We stayed up playing Monopoly after we got out 
of the hot tub." The girls quickly smiled. "Hot tub?" Darien laughed. 
"Yeah. You girls can make yourself at home. There's food in the 
fridge, games in the closet, a hot tub down the hall, and right 
outside there is the beach. Go have fun."
	"Darien, aren't you and Serena going to join us?" Amy asked. Darien 
yawned. "Nah. You guys enjoy yourselves. I'm happy here with Serena." 
Mina winked at him. "We get what you're saying. We'll leave you 
two love birds alone." Darien smiled and waved to the girls as they 
tip- toed away. "Are they gone yet?" Serena mumbled. "They're off 
doing something else now. It's just you and me," Darien answered. 
Serena smiled. "Just the way I like it." Darien pulled Serena closer 
to him and kissed her. "Me too," he whispered in her ear.
