This is the last part guys... its done! There's no song, but I hope you'll enjoy it anyways. ^^ After The Noon Bell By Klutz This can be considered 'part two' of 'After Midnight', a continuation alright? Hm... E-mail: lunap@lunap.com Site: www.lunap.com rat: g 1/1 you don't feel you could love me, but I feel you could... it was in the early morning hours, when I fell into a phone-call, believing I had supernatural powers,I slammed into a brick-wall. ~Paul Simon Mamoru was awake long before his eyes opened. He knew immeadiatly that in four minutes, his alarm would go off as it did every morning. He knew that the rain of the night before was gone, leaving the streets sparkling and slick. He knew that today was going to be *the* day. He opened his eyes and turned his head to the window. The sun fell quietly on the half of the room his bed was on, and he could see the clouds on the horizon being chased away by the smiling sun. This had to be a good omen. Mamoru closed his eyes for a few seconds more a took a deep breath. He might as well start the day off right! Sitting up, he stretched his arms leisurely and swung his legs over the side of the bed. Then he stretched his legs out and stood up. It felt good. Mamoru walked slowly into the kitchen and turned on the radio before starting the shower running and popping two pieces of toast into the toaster before heading back into his room, moving in time with the music. It still felt good. Smiling at the little people rushing back and forth down below the window, Mamoru shut off the alarm just before it rang and opened his closet doors with a flourish. What to wear, what to wear... How could he impress Usagi without actually looking like he was trying too? Hmm... Well, for one thing, he wouldn't wear the green jacket. He liked it, but she had expressed her dislike often in their little arguments. Hmm.... Well, that dark blue shirt looked good, and that girl on the street a few days ago had said it really brought out his eyes. He pulled it off the hanger and tossed it onto the bed. Now where were those pants he liked so much? Oh! There they were! He tossed the pants on the bed next to the shirt and plucked his favorite tuxedo-kamen boxers out of a drawer. They were his favorite because they matched his slippers, which were just unbelievably comfortable! Smiling once more, Mamoru ran out into the other room, caught the toast as it popped up, and set it on a plate before stepping into the shower. Mamoru had never sung in the shower before, but he tried it today. It was a novel experience. He just might start to do this everyday... Once he finished his shower, he dried off with a towle and got dressed quickly before sitting down to eat breakfast. When he was done, he quickly brushed his teeth and hair, washed his face, and then cleaned the dishes before gathering up his books and leaving. The streets were already full of people, people going places, coming home, picking things up... Where as Mamoru was only looking for someone who would be running down the other side of the street any second now. And there she was! Usagi was going full speed again this morning, and he was content to watch her from the other side of the street, (While looking like he was obsorbed in his book). She looked surprised when she didn't run into anyone. Stopping, she looked around. 'Well this is interesting.' Mamoru thought. She looked almost disapointed before zipping off again. Mamoru closed the book and let it rest in his hand at his side, smiling. So she *did* like him after all! There was still hope yet... The day went slowly from there on. Mamoru was fidgety all day. That bothered him. Mamoru was *never* fidgety. The clocks seemed to be going backwards, and he could not get out of school fast enough. He had a girl to catch! Forcing himself to walk, Mamoru made his way to the Arcade in the fastest walk he had ever walked. It was almost scary. He was delighted though, to be rewarded by the site of Odango Atama herself sitting at the counter inside. Signaling Motoki not to let her know he was there, he stood behind her for a moment. "...So you see Motoki-kun, I was worried and I thought you might know if he was sick? He's never missed us running into each other in the morning before!" Usagi exclaimed. Mamoru let a grin spread over his face. She had actually been worried about him! "Hey Usagi, I'm not sick." Mamoru exclaimed, sitting down next to her. She jumped and looked shocked. "Mamoru!" she gasped. He jumped too, immitating her. "Usagi!" She took a deep breath. "You scared the living heck out of me, sneaking up on me like that! Don't you ever do it again!" she scolded him. Mamoru just grinned. "I can't help it Usagi, you're so cute when you're surprised!" Usagi blinked and turned several shades of red. "Wha, wha, what did you just say?" she asked shakily. He smiled. "Ah Usagi, you're so funny sometimes." Motoki was just staring blankly at him from the other side of the counter. Mamoru was ecstatic, this was more fun than eating chocolate! Usagi stuttered incoherently for a few moments. Why was Mamoru acting all different today? Not that she minded, it was sweet, and well, she'd had a thing for him for ages... "Usagi, can I ask you a question?" Mamoru asked after a moment. "Um..yes?" Usagi managed to get out. "If I did something odd right now, would you hate me?" "Er, um, something like what?" Mamoru leaned a little bit closer, and whispered his reply in hehr ear. "Something like...this?" he questioned before softly kissing her. Usagi was shocked. No wait, Usagi was beyond shocked, she was catatonic. But something about it all told her it couldn't be a dream, not this time, and she softly kissed him back. There was fire spreading all over him, he couldnn't feel his legs anymore, but Mamoru didn't care. All he cared about was the soft girl in his arms, and the fact that she was kissing him back. After a moment, Mamoru pulled back. "Usako, aishiteru..." he whispered. Usagi's eyes began to water. "Oh Mamo-chan, I love you too!" she replied, and flung herself into his arms. Mamoru thanked whoever it was up there that had let this happen. He owed them big time. The end! Good, bad? lunap@lunap.com guys! I'd like feedback!
