    I couldn't believe it.  Andrew, my boyfriend of the last four 
months, had 
just proposed.  I was so happy and of course I said yes.  The wedding 
was 
arranged to be in two months.  I was on my way to see my childhood 
friends 
who would soon become my bridesmaids.
    I pulled up into the driveway of Raye Hino.  I opened the door, got 
out, 
and walked up to the door.  I knocked and stood patiently waiting for 
Raye to 
answer the door.  I turned around and looked out at the yard while 
waiting.  
I heard the door click as a sign of opening and turned back around.
    "Serena, is that you?" Raye asked.
    "Hey, Raye!  What have you been up to?"
    "Nothin' much.  What about you?"
    "Well," I began as I held up my left hand for Raye to see the ring.  
"I'm 
engaged!"
    "Omigod!  Who is it!  Who is it!"
    "You remember Andrew Thompson, right?"
    "Omigod!  You're engaged to Andrew Thompson?!  Oh, Serena, I'm so 
happy 
for you!"
