Name: Sakura Girl E-mail: alicefan@misystems.cnchost.com Rating: G Disclaimer: The characters in that wonderful anime/manga title, Sailor Moon, do NOT belong to me whatsoever (sadly… ~sigh~)! The amazingly clever Naoko Takeuchi may take all credit, so please, don't file any unneeded (totally unneeded!) lawsuits against me for simply "borrowing" these Sailor Moon people for my story! Fallen Angel: Part One (Revised) By Sakura Girl The soft, enchanting melody of the young angel's harp engulfed the heavenly environment that had surrounded her. As she continued to play the sorrowful, yet sweet, music, another angel appeared beside her. "Princess? Whatever is a matter with you? Your little song is so distressing, are you feeling well?" she questioned softly, not wanting to disrupt her friend's activity too much. The quaint little melody came to a short pause as the silver-headed one answered a bit too quickly, "Why dearest Mina! Where did you get such a ridiculous notion? I'm fine, really! Just…fine…" Noticing her close companion's somewhat disturbed response, she immediately sensed something seriously wrong. "Oh silly girl! You know you cannot hide anything from me, I'm your very best friend, for heaven's sake!" Mina replied with great concern bathing within her glistening, pale blue eyes. After a moment of short silence, the silver-headed angel replied quietly, "Mina? You must never breathe this to single soul, alive or deceased, of what I am about to tell you… For I shall be punished severely if anyone should ever learn of how I have sinned." "Now dearest Angel Serena, how could anyone wish to punish you? It can't be as serious as you make it out to be… But I do promise, I mark my word upon the great and holy Silver Imperium Crystal that I shan't ever reveal this secret of yours to a single being. Besides, even if you did commit some serious sin, which I highly doubt, you can't be disciplined too strictly for you ARE the Angel Princess… heir to the throne of heaven itself!" Serena's smoky, gray eyes were temporarily turned away from Mina's light blue, for she knew that this wrongdoing of hers was no minor circumstance. She took in a deep breath before continuing raggedly, "I-I've…I've committed a very inappropriate and quite unfit doing… You see, the little boy was just so young… So innocent! So full of life! I could not just allow him to be taken by Hades so soon… Though one of Beryl’s generals was already a-waiting for him at the Door…" Mina gasped, and nearly fainted, for all angels knew that though it WAS their duty to protect the humans whom they’d chosen to guard (as Guardian Angels), they were never to interfere with the Elements. When Queen Beryl of the Underworld chose to destroy a life, no one was to defy her of that choice. "…W-what…?" the blonde creature managed to choke out. Hoping that she had just simply misunderstood her friend’s explanation, though seeing such a serious glint within the Princess’ ocean of gray, Angel Mina knew exactly what Serenity had done. She had resisted the Pact made by the Queens of two opposing worlds in the very beginning of time. She had saved a life that was meant for Beryl… "Hello there Princess Serena," another feminine figure gushed happily. "Marianne! W-what are you doing here?" Serena questioned nervously. One couldn't blame her lack of vivacity though, although Marianne was of a very sweet nature. She often a time could be somewhat of a grand annoyance and a rather mouthy creature. "So, what are you two talking about? Am I interrupting something? I certainly hope not," she continued without waiting for an answer, "Oh Serena! I could've sworn I heard YOU, of all people, mention a certain happening between you and a certain special someone as I was approaching! Is it true? Or are my ears mistaken? Please do tell!" Serena's cheeks began to pale immediately. Fortunately, Mina had recovered and attempted to save her friend from Marianne’s little questions. "Well, you see, dear Marianne, Serena was, um…telling me about her…newest assignment! Uh, she's going to become a…guardian angel again! And she was just describing to me what her human looked like! Uh-huh, yep, that's all, no biggie!" Mina finished with confident nod, ensuring the safety of their secret. Once the nosy redheaded angel disappeared from their company, the two beauties quickly escaped to their own secretive little hideout hidden behind a lot of menacing-looking gray clouds. Serena settled herself down comfortably upon a soft and fluffy white cloud behind the stormy wall. While Mina sat her winged-self down next to her silver-headed companion. The girls let out a long sigh of relief, though their peace didn’t last long… For suddenly, a number of menacing black arms of negative energy (an Element that couldn’t ever be found in the World of Eternal Bliss…) escaped from the dark, stormy cloud and headed for the direction of the Angel Princess. "Serena!" screamed her blonde companion as she attempted to destroy the evil presence by her own Powers of Light. But it was too late, the blackness had already engulfed the Angel Princess. An enraged voice hissed as the dark force ensnared a frantic Serena into its grasps, "Foolish angel! How dare you take away the Chosen One? I wanted him you little wrench! You shall be severely punished for this misdeed!"
