Name: Sakura Girl E-mail: alicefan@misystems.cnchost.com Rating: G Disclaimer: The characters in that wonderful anime/manga title, Sailor Moon, do NOT belong to me whatsoever (sadly… ~sigh~)! The amazingly clever Naoko Takeuchi may take all credit, so please, don't file any unneeded (totally unneeded!) lawsuits against me for simply "borrowing" these Sailor Moon people for my story! Fallen Angel: Part Two By Sakura Girl The pretty little blonde slowly sat up from her spot upon the soft green grass. She gently rubbed her weary blue eyes as her vision came into better focus. 'Where am I?' she thought to herself in confusion, 'Who am I?' The young girl was clothed in some sort of white robe-like dress, though its design was simple, anyone could easily tell the excellent quality and detail of the snow-colored dress. Suddenly, a white, blinding light came out of nowhere and a similar, yet somewhat different, vision of herself appeared in front of her… "Serena! You must achieve your goal to return!" the beautiful angel-like vision cried out urgently. With that, the blue-eyed blonde angel creature disappeared as quickly as she had come. This left a very, very confused Serena sitting in a sea of questions swimming around her head. 'My name is Serena?' the former angel asked herself, her corn-colored brows furrowing in great puzzlement. "Is that the only thing I know of myself?" she sighed unhappily. In the midst of her self-pity, the angel's voice emerged within her mind… "Dearest Serena, you do not remember anything about yourself because of the memory erasing spell your mother has placed on you…your appearance has also changed to better fit your current surroundings. According to earth's time, I believe you are around 19 or 20-years-old, and that is all I basically know of you… The rest, you'll have to make up for your convenience…" as the gentle voice quieted down, Serena mind was once again replaced by silence. The reassuring sound of the angel brought a new sense of determination into the confused girl. Her large, cerulean-tinted eyes quickly skimmed around her surroundings. To her surprise it consisted of a bunch of small thorny bushes that were flowered with the most exquisitely beautiful blossoms in which she had ever seen in her entire life! She arose from her place in the green patch of grass and delicately took one of the pinkish-hued flowers within her inquisitive fingers. Serena gently lifted the divine little bud to her nose and took a whiff of its delightful scent. "You like roses?" a deep, husky voice interrupted her. She immediately dropped the pretty pink flower within her gentle grasp and whipped around and found herself staring face to face with perhaps the most beautiful creature to be made upon this great, green world. His glorious midnight-colored hair shone like silk beneath the gentle rays of the morning sun. The pair of mysterious dark sea-colored eyes, which stared back so intently at her own sky-blue, caught her completely off-guard… The young girl quickly turned to face him. The ethereal image that was now portrayed before him nearly took his breath away. He had expected her to be pretty, but this…this…enchanting goddess standing in front of him had to be some fairy who had fallen directly from heaven up above! Her long golden tresses trailed down just a little past her knees. The halo which marveled the radiance of the sun itself, was causing a great twitching within his fingers as he fought the uncontrollable urge to run his fingers through those fine strands of beauty. The soft, melodic voice of this angel politely disrupted his insights upon her appearance. "Who…who are you?" she asked shakily. The handsome male specimen answered smoothly without missing a beat, "Chiba. Darien Chiba. And what might your name be?" A light blush tinted her creamy complexion as she answered softly, "My…my name is Serena. Just Serena." Darien thought inwardly to himself, 'Her name is Serena. How…intriguing. Just like her...' He smiled gently down at the nervous young beauty before opening his mouth, trying to reassure her that he wouldn't bite. He had thought her tenseness had been caused by his presence, little did he know that the reason she was so uptight was because of the strong attraction she felt towards him. "So…do you like roses?" he questioned once more. His voice snapped her out of her present trance as she slowly turned her attentions back to flowers he had called 'roses'. "Roses? These…are roses?" she asked, delight quite apparent in her voice. Darien stared, confusion written all over his chiseled features. 'How could anyone not know what roses are?' somehow unwilling to believe the denseness of the question. For a moment he had the impression that she was just one of those half-witted, flirty women whom he had associated with in the past. Trying too hard to appear poorly educated and defenseless, and very much in need of a man (the man being him) to protect them from the world. But this remark had topped off everything he had heard in the past! However, after he took one look at her intense observation upon the seemingly foreign object in front of her, he changed his mind. She looked just too innocent and simple-minded to try and make such an outrageous play for him. He sucked in a deep breath before saying to her quietly, "They are called roses… You're…not from around here, are you?" She suddenly dropped the blooming blossom and her relaxed gaze turned into an extremely alarmed expression. "W-what do you mean? Of course I'm from around here!" she laughed nervously. It was quite obvious she was not a good liar. He chuckled lightly at her pathetic attempt of retorting his comment. There was definitely some sort of exquisite queerness to this girl. Definitely not just some anybody you'd meet on a street. "So where are you really from?" he asked casually. Silence filled the air as Serena quickly racked her brain for some believable excuse for a home… "…I-I am from… up…up, up north! Yes, that's where I'm from." She breathed out, great relief accompanied the faltering statement. Though Darien still felt somewhat skeptical, he decided to accept that answer…for now. He grinned widely and asked once more, "Well, since you're new in town, would you like someone to show you around?" Her bright blue eyes lit up as she quickly accepted the kind gentleman's offer to teach her about her curious new environment. She seriously needed to learn more about this strange, yet refreshing, new world she was now living in. And perhaps as she continued her 'studies', she would find out what 'goal' she had to achieve in order the return to wherever she was from. Hello all you nice people out there! I've added s'more wonderful paragraphs to this part of my story. It's probably longer than the previous two that I've posted (hip hip hurray!). Anyway, I know getting kicked out of heaven for loving someone is really stupid and totally unfair, but… Think about it this way: what if angels started marrying humans? And what would their kids be like? I mean, can anyone say…freaks of nature? ~sigh~ Okay, that excuse was majorly lame…I myself am still trying to figure out why Serena got the old boot outta cloudy land! If anyone has any better ideas to why she got kicked out, please e-mail me (~gasp~ did YOU notice the subtle way I led this 'author's notes' part into asking for more e-mail? Aren't I good? ~hee hee~ J/K.)! Well, write soon all you people! Thanks for reading this…even if it sucks like…suckiness! E-mail me! Luv ya ~Chibi Sakura~
