Darien and Serena walked on the sandy beach barefoot. The walked hand in hand as they looked at the sun looming over the horizon. Serena laid her head on Darien's shoulder. "Darien...." Serena whispered "Hmmm....?" "It's been a week and I still haven't talked to the gang. Darien, they really hurt me but I don't know if I should forgive them or not. After all, I still love them all." "Is Raye still leaving those messages on your answering machine?" "Yeah, Raye and everyone else. I get about 5 of them every day. All of them have the same message. They kept calling me and apologizing but I haven't returned any of their calls. Raye called me today and invited me to a sleep over at the temple tonight. She wants me to call her back tonight and tell her if I'm going or not. What should I do?" "Well, are you still mad at them?" Serena shook her head. "Then maybe it's time to forgive and forget. If you still care about them, maybe this incident shouldn't stand in the way of your friendship." "Easier said that done Darien," Serena replied. "I know that, Serena," he said, "You know, I was really mad at the way they treated you too. I've been thinking about it a lot. Serena, they made a lot of wrong choices but they had the right heart condition. The reason why they abandoned you was because they believed in tough love. They only way they thought you could survive and battle Bryl was if they put you through hard treatment to toughen you up. It's not a total excuse for all the cruel things they did but they still do care about you." Serena was in awe. "Wow, Darien. I never thought of it in that kind of light before. And hey, it worked too. I do better in battles and I found out I was the Moon Princess." She stood on her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around his neck. She fingered threw his hair and sweetly kissed him. "I love talking to you Darien. You always help me out with my problems." "Welcome," he said tenderly. Darien looked over the vast water. "Hey it's getting dark, maybe it's time to take you home. Serena nodded. "Dear Journal, I known it's been a long time since I wrote my last entry. Life has been quite interesting lately. The highlight of it all was being reunited with my Prince. As the days go by, I'm slowing remembering all and everything about out past. I can even remember days Darien and I use to sneak out to see each other. Although Bryl is now out of the picture, new villains have sprung up. Some queer couple named Alan and Ann keeps terrorizing Tokyo. They're pretty strong. I need the scouts to help me battle them. I still don't know if I could forgive them or not. They left me when I really needed them, but we've has such an amazing past together and I just can't throw that away." Serena looked around her room and stared at the pictures of her best friends. She similed and picked up her pen again. "I know now what I must do." She picked up her phone.
