Tittle: It all started with Romeo and Juliet ~ Chapter 1bAuthor: Princess Selene E-mail: PrincessSelene@usa.net HI, guys!!! Ready for another part of this chapter?! If so, Let's ROCK N' ROLL ... `~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~` Two glass doors slid open. Usagi paused before stepping in, then looked around frantically looking for a certain blonde hair guy who was so cute and nice and kind and friendly and pleasant and -- "Konichiwa, Usagi-chan!!!" Her heart skipped a beat before turning to the main source of the voice which had just wished her. She was smiling hopefully to find Motoki-san there smiling gently back at her. Ah, he's so darn cute! She had always knew all along that Motoki-san had a girlfriend who is far more beautiful than her, and Motoki-san was just treating her as how he treated many other girls who come often to the arcade. Like a pet sister. Still, the reason why she's always hanging out in the arcade with him is because... because... most of the girls her age are already having boyfriends or at least crushes or infatuation on tall, dark and handsome guys. She could not stand to be the odd one out. She *need* someone, a guy, to have a crush on, rather than being said as a klutz or a ditz who will never ever have a boyfriend. She hated it when people said that to her. Furthermore, Motoki-san seems to be a decent enough to suit her. Not that she asks for much. "Hello, earth to Usagi-chan!" She didn't answer him. Despite of her Common Sense screaming at her, she did not WANT to answer him. "Hello, anyone there?" Motoki-san tried moving her shoulders gently. She STILL won't budge a bit even though her Common Sense is getting quite fed up with her. She just don't understand what possessed her to stay unmoving with her eyes closed for a whole 5 minutes now. "Should have guess! First, in the park, now in the arcade! Come on Motoki-kun, I guess probably you need an atomic bomb to wake her up from her *romantic* dream with Mr. Romeo." THAT jerked her up instantly. Her eyes popped open and her body alert. There, sitting comfortably on a stool with his chin resting on the back of his hand, facing her while smirking all the time, is the same jerk she saw in the park just now! She looks at him with pure shock. "What, Odango?! Too surprise to see me?" He grins widely adding, "I take 'yes' as an answer from the look on your face." She gulped nervously. She just couldn't understand why she is feeling so electrify around him now. Everything was all right during their first meeting at the park just now. So, why now...? "Aww, you don't have to be so mean to Usagi-chan, right?!" Motoki-san protested good-naturally. Ah, that answered her question. She would most definitely stay, for her knight in shining armour was present. The ghoul, as how she addressed him, ran his hand over his jet-blacked hair, unconsciously sending shivers to the young girl who had just came in a few minutes ago, before giving Motoki a simple answer. "Can't I?" He gave a questioning glance to Motoki before averting back his attention to his so-called 'victim'. Usagi snapped at him angrily, voicing her furious thoughts out. "Can't you just mind back your own business and stop interfering with my life?! Why are you being such a moron?! Did I ever did anything wrong to you which made you so...so... I don't how to say it, but...but... you're being such a jerk!" She found it really hard to get angry at him or anybody else for that matter. She feels really stupid and silly yelling at him like that no matter what a blockhead he may be. Anger just wasn't her type. Still, she refused to apologise even though she feels that maybe she was wrong. She doesn't want to apologise since every word she uttered just now was quite right too. "Well, that was certainly an outburst from you," he just reply with a small smile. He shift to a much more comfortable position on the stool then proceed to drink his coffee, which is almost forgotten, as if he did not hear her questions. The forgotten Motoki just watch the play before him with great interest while smiling all the time. He then suddenly noticed that Usagi looks like she was about to murder the dark-haired guy who seems wasn't paying any attention at her at all. She was going to opened her mouth to shout at him for his rudeness when Motoki suddenly chirps in. Ah, Motoki to the rescue. "Oh, I see that you two knew each other. Such a coincidence! I was about to introduce both of you to each other since both of you are so very important to me. One is my best friend and one is my most regular and friendly customer." Motoki said with a cheerful tone. Usagi gave the 'jerk' who is still having his back at her an icy-glare then mutters under her breath sarcastically, "Whoever who wants to meet a monster face-to-face is a true lunatic." Fortunately, no one heard her. The 'monster' she is talking about is still slurping his coffee silently. Motoki then continues, "Anyway, I guess that both of you still does not know each other's names yet, right?!" When he receives silence as the answer, he exclaim with low enthusiasm, "Great! Okay, so I assumed the answer is yes, right?!" Again, silence. "HELLO people! Can you both snapped out of it and PAY attention at what I'm talking about?!" The raven-haired guy and the blonde girl just bored their eyes on Motoki as a response. "Good! At least I got your attention! Well, let me proceed with the introduction then. This...," he said pointing to the blonde girl, "...is Usagi, and this...," pointing to the raven-haired guy, "...is Mamoru!" He ended up with a seemingly satisfied tone. After the introduction, Mamoru looked at Motoki for a moment before resting his gaze on Usagi who was looking at him. When their eyes meet, Usagi suddenly blushed a deep shade of red and smiling a small smile before looking down at the arcade floor. She starts to finger with her golden curls with Mamoru's gaze still on her. At the end of her eyes, she could swore that she saw a grin on his face. Suddenly, without any signs, he called out, "Odango Atama" She jerked up once more from her blushing state, "WHAT?!" Without moving but still having that silly grin on his face, he replied, "You heard me. I really hope that you didn't actually turned your ears into those two meatballs on your head!" "These are NOT meatballs!!! How dare you, calling my hair 'meatballs'! You... you...MORON!" After that statement, Usagi furiously stormed out of the arcade. The *long* forgotten Motoki just stood there and sighed at the drama which played in front of him a few minutes ago. Trough the two glass doors, Mamoru could still see her walking away always falling a few times after each two steps. When she was finally out of view, he turned back to his coffee and start slurping silently with a small smile on his handsome features. `~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~` It's such a *way* bad ending!
