Title: I Dare You Part: Epilogue Rating: G E-mail: shenkoskyusa@netscape.net By: Kas Thanks to Alicia Blade and lady Starra for putting this up for me at First Love, as well as to Andrea for putting this up at ASMR. Thanks to those of you who have been e-mailing me. Some of your letter, are just so nice! Thanks. .................................................................... Disclaimers: Me no own Sailor Moon.... (I'm practicing bad grammar here folks.) OK, OK, I can do better then that. I do not own Sailor Moon, I've said before so I shall say it again. For if I did I would be rich and famous and have many friends. Sailor Moon is not mine. I wish I owned the tux man though. Cause he's much cuter then the guys I know. Oh dear tux if only you were real. To see to touch to 'feel' Oh woo is me, I wish I were anime, for they have all the good men. So to my dear friend, I do not own Sailor Moon, now this is the end. Well that was my stinky poem like disclaimers. .................................................................... And now on with my 'really' short epilogue.... Darien slowly walked into the arcade, with a soft smile playing around the corners of his mouth. Scanning through the crowd of happy faces he landed on a pair of 'meatballs' and smiled a little wider before sauntering over to the blonde. She was immersed into a game 'Sailor V' no doubt. >From the looks of it she wasn't doing to bad either. He 'almost' felt guilty for what he was about to do, but banished the feeling and concentrated on the task at hand. Slowly, quietly, like a tiger stalking his pray, his steps slowed and he found himself hunching slightly as he snuck up on the unsuspecting girl. Movements as quick as lightning he reached out and plucked the blonde, from her seat. A slight squeal erupted from her lips but died instantly in her throat, as his lips caught hers in a sweet kiss. Hey he just couldn't help himself when it came to her. It had been one week since the bet was made. One whole, glories week filled with trials, pain and intense joy. The look of happiness that came to her face as soon as they parted made him smile fondly at the angel in his arms. He was sure he could never get tired of that smile. The absolute love shining back in her eyes caused his heart to constrict slightly. He had never known anyone so open to love and to show it so freely. Somewhere in the background he heard the machine say "Game Over" and smiled as she didn't even flinch. Before he would have gotten a tongue lashing for daring to disturb her when she was in the middle of a Sailor V game. He had to admit he liked it 'much' better this way. Leaning down he smiled boyishly at her and winked. "How would you like to grab a sundae and then take a walk in the park?" She smiled back at him at laughed before looking him right in the eyes and saying. "Why Mr. Shields are you asking me out on a date?" Smiling at her teasing tone her wrapped his arms around her waist a little tighter and nodded. "I believe I am, that is if you'll have me?" All teasing gone from his voice he looked down into her eyes and asked, "will you have me?" Her eyes locked on to his and she smiled warmly up at him. "I'd rather have no other, I thought you knew that." "I do, but it's always nice to be reminded." Seeing the impish glint in his eyes she smiled a little more and smacked him playfully. Laughing at her antics, Darien leaned down, and kissed her forehead lightly before whispering, "Be nice you haven't gotten that sundae yet." She looked absolutely scandalized at the mere thought and frowned at him. He was ready to tell her he was just kidding, when he noticed Andrew, watching them from the counter. Even from this distance he could tell his friend was smiling in honest happiness for the both of them. Turning back to his meatball head, he smiled lovingly. Plucking a quarter from his pocket he held up the shinny object for her inspection. She looked at him quizzically before he placed it in her palm and leaned close to her ear. I need to talk to Andrew for a minute, If you want you can play that game I made you loss, then we can get you that sundae OK? Hoping she wouldn't see any flaw in his plan he waited for her to shrug before taking the coin and walking towards the game. "Don't be long" she called, then immersed herself in the game once more. Sighing as he made his way over to his friend, he smiled genuinely. "Looks like you won." replied the blond, wile looking rather pleased for a man who just lost a hundred dollars. "You don't look that surprised." he remarked while razing an eye brow. "As a matter of fact I think you set me up." Looking hurt Andrew blinked his eyes innocently. "Darien... Me? set you up?" Chuckling slightly at the dramatics being played out he nodded and eyed his friend. "Yeah Andy, you set me up, you knew I'd win." Andrew continued the innocent act with a dramatic sigh. "Now Darien 'why' would I do something like that? I'm the one losing a hundred dollars remember?" Darien just smiled and looked at the other man thoughtfully. "Because" he concluded in all seriousness. "Your a really good friend." The act stopped and a genuine smile replaced the false innocent one. "Yeah, well you would have gotten around to doing it eventually, you just needed a push in the right direction." Smiling back he nodded a little before reaching into his pocket and retrieving a crisp one hundred dollar bill. Placing it on the counted he watched as his friend looked at him quizzically before picking up the money. "What's this for? Your the one who won remember?" Looking back to the girl at the Sailor V game a loving smile came to his lips. "Your right, but I won something allot more important then a hundred dollars, and besides" he continued "you have to bye Rita, that ring remember?" Smiling a little Andrew tucked the money into his pocket, as he watched Darien make his way back over to his girlfriend. Not being able to stop himself from a jock or two, he yelled out "So Dare, whens the wedding?" Darien turned around to look at his friend thoughtfully. "I'm not sure, we haven't discussed it yet, but if I had it my way it would be in March, the same year she turns eight teen." And with that he returned to her side, leaving a shell shocked Andrew in his wake. "Well I'll be damned....." ~Fin~ .................................................................... Well that was short. Sappy and corny with an unexpected twist, well I hope it was unexpected. OK that is the end, the complete and total story...... And it's over! ~ Laughs merrily ~ Oh come on you know you are all happy to see it die. I'll bet some of you weren't sure if I'd ever write an epilogue ne? Well I wouldn't of but I got asked by three or four people so I realized it was only far. I kind of forgot about the original idea. ~ Blushes like crazy and hangs head in shame. ~ ~Sighs~ I'm a ditz, I know, I know. And to those of you who are waiting for the second part to 'Kiss me at Midnight' my humblest of apologies for making you wait so long, but I'm piled up to my neck in homework. I get four hours worth of homework each day so when I'm finally done all I want to do is immerse myself in TV, and retire my brain for the evening. I go to bed dreaming of equations and old bald men trying to explain why 'n' is not a letter but is a number and how come it equals 5,000 I'm stuck with questions like 9x -5x + 3y + 29p times 6 over 51 - 2 =? I'm scoring 90s on comprehension tests but 50 in grammar and only 75s in science. I feel like Serena, trying to show her mother a test score in grammar..... It's not pretty folks. And I'm not bad in Algebra but my teacher is so boring even he falls asleep when he's talking. He's nothing compared to my science teacher though. I'm not even going to go there. Oh well, its going on 1:00 am and I still have my science book to read. Night guys. Kas ~ who promises to get it out within the next two weeks. ~
