Another Saturday In Tokyo Part 2/? By Klutz PG Eden@tuxedomask.com Soon to be owner of lunap.com Oh, a note I forgot to mention. Alt reality, no TM yet, everyone knows Usa = Princess S. Now as far as Darien knew, using his wide array of scientific, theoretical and hypothetical knowledge, light-flashing cat-induced hallucinations were highly impossible, so he must have been dreaming. The two of them and the cat were standing in a green field sprinkled with flowers. "Luna, what the heck is going on?" Serena asked. The cat hopped into the girl's arms. "Well it appears that Queen Serenity has to pass on some more information to us, though truthfully, I have no idea why Mr. Shields over there had to be here. Maybe it involves him?" Darien was to shocked to say a word. "What? Are you crazy? No way is that creep involved in my destiny!" she shrieked, gaping at the cat and then me. "On the contrary daughter, he has everything to do with it," spoke a soft voice behind them. They all turned as one to see a tall woman with silver hair in Serena's style and a white dress standing there, smiling. "Mother!" Serena exclaimed, hugging the woman. The cat appeared to get all misty-eyed. "Queen Serenity." She sniffled. "It's good to be back, for awhile anyway. Luna, I assume you do not know who this young man is?" she asked. They shook their heads. Darien, assuming by now that this woman was important and speaking of him, straightened. "He is… from earth. I can not say more now, but I need to give him something." She walked up to him, handing him a rose that he had not seen earlier. He took it, and there was a flash of light, blinding the other three as a tingling sensation overtook Darien. When it was over, they opened their eyes again, and he was dressed in a tuxedo, cape and mask. "Luna, Daughter, I would like you too meet Tuxedo Mask. He'll help in battles and protect Serena." Darien blanched and gaped at himself. "Oh my god, what just happened?" he exclaimed. Serena giggled in spite of herself. "Welcome to the team Darien. I think we'd better go back now so we can start training him. Also, how am I supposed to convince him that this wasn't a dream?" Serena turned and voice the last three sentences to the Queen. She smiled as reality began to fade in on them again. "Don't worry about a thing…" she whispered and the two found themselves back at the arcade, but Darien was still dressed as Tuxedo Mask. He blinked. "Did… what I just think happened actually happen?" he asked, again looking at the outfit. Serena laughed at him again. "Mhm." Luna walked on down the counter, a few feet away. "Now come on, you lock up. I have to change and then we have some training to do!" she exclaimed. He shook his head and went around turning off lights and putting things away. Serena threw her hand into the air, "Moon Prism Power!" she cried out, causing Darien to spin around and gape. Now amongst the many drawbacks of being a super hero, the transformation has to take the cake, especially with someone else around. Though it only took a split second, every movement was painfully clear to Darien, and it was almost laughably obvious to a very embarrassed Serena, that he followed every twitch with darkening navy eyes. Finally finished, she frowned at Darien, who was frozen, in place. "Jeez, stop that Darien! You're starting to freak me out here!" she exclaimed, blushing bright red. He blinked once or twice, then turned away quickly, turning a similar shade. "Sorry! Never seen anyone else transform before. Err… Anyways, I'm done so let's lock the door and get out of here. Training right?" he continued, switching away from the rather embarrassing past situation. Beep beep! Sailor Moon held up a finger to tell him to wait and pulled her communicator out of thin air. "Moon here, what's up Mercury?" she asked. "Youma attack, temple, Rayes grandpa is in danger, we need you!" another voice replied from the pink calculator--like device. Moon nodded. "Be there in three." Click! The communicator disappeared and she headed out the door. "Let's go cape boy, looks like your up for that training a little ahead of schedule." She said. He followed her, shocked to find himself leaping over tall rooftops in a single bound. They soon were racing up the steps of the temple on Cherry Hill, where Sailor Mars and Mercury could clearly be heard, still battling a monster that had Grandpa unconscious on the ground. Chad too lay unconscious, near him. The monster had Sailor Mars in between a rock and a hard place, and was readying it's attack. Tuxedo Mask reacted almost instinctively, whipping a rose at the creature, slicing a deep cut into its shoulder. The thing reacted with a cry of rage, shooting an energy beam that was headed straight for Sailor Moon, who was frozen in place. She closed her eyes and waited for impact. It never came. Slowly opening her eyes she realized with shock that she was flying, or rather being carried by Tuxedo Mask who had somehow learned to fly in the few moments of battle. "You saved me!" she exclaimed in shock. He grinned and set her down, back in the battle. "Do your stuff Sailor Moon, before it attacks again." He commanded. She glared at him for a moment, then threw her tiara in the usual style. "Moon Tiara magic!" And poof, one less monster for the Negaverse. Mars and Mercury, slightly recovered, limped over. "Who is this guy?" Raye asked. Serena frowned at her. "You're hurt! His identity can wait a few minutes, now both of you lay down!" Suprisingly too tired to argue, they did and Sailor Moon leaned over them, pouring light out of her hands. "What the?!" Darien exclaimed, but no one noticed. Moments latter the two sailors were healed fully, but Sailor Moon was exhausted. "Oh Mars, can this wait for tomorrow?? I really need a nap…now…" she closed her eyes and fell backwards, caught by Tuxedo Mask as her Sailor uniform disappeared back into her locket, replaced by her normal clothes. As if on cue, Tuxedo Mask involuntarily turned back into Darien, and Luna came panting up the steps. "Why does no one care about the kitty?" she asked breathlessly. She caught her breath finally. "Well what are you waiting for? Darien, get her back to the arcade to rest. I'll tell Mercury and Mars what they're no doubt dying to know." Darien nodded and picked up Serena, walking away from the fading conversation. He looked down at his 'passenger', who was sleeping peacefully. Always before today he had assumed she was a simple girl, with no more cares than icecream and Sailor V, but here was a princess, a warrior, a healer, a teacher… Everything was different now. Serena Moon, Sailor Moon. It made a lot of sense really, but Darien's mind was slow to accept anything that defied logic. But here she was, and there was he. These thoughts occupied him all the way back to the arcade (which was a much slowed walk on the streets than by rooftop) and inside where he set her on the couch, covered her with a blanket, and fell asleep at the counter in the other room.
