If you don't know who owns Sailor Moon, you should be ashamed of claiming to be a Moonie. Here in part two we find what King Endymion remembers when he can't find Serena and a youma attacks the center where the wake-a-thon is being held to raise funds for a nearby orphanage. She looked so confident, in control as if she knew what she was doing, but at the same time she looked so scared. I worried about that. But first I had to get the other people out of the building so that they would be safe from the youma. Hustling all the frightened people out, I searched for a blond pair of meatballs with pigtails trailing from them. I couldn't see Serena. That worried me. I couldn't find her or any of her other friends. I saw the guys there, Ken, Greg, Chad, and even Andrew, but I couldn't find Serena. As soon as everyone was out of the building, I walked back towards the direction that I had last seen the guys. Seeing Ken I asked him, "Hey, have you seen Serena?" "No, and we can't find the rest of the girls either." "Do you know where you last saw them?" "Last I saw they were still in the building." Turning quickly, I ran back to the center. When I got to the front door a woman came running out. It was the woman who was hosting the fund-raiser wake-a-thon. She looked scared and relieved at the same time. Her brown hair was in disarray and her clothing was in a shambles. But I didn't care. I had to find Serena, although God knows why I was this worried about her. She was just some girl I teased on occasion. "Miss, did you happen to see a young girl with blond hair and blue eyes. Her hair was in two meatballs atop of her head." I said guesturing at the top of my own head. "Blonde hair? Did she happen to have four friend with her?" "Yes." I said urgently. "Well I saw them. But they weren't running towards the exits like everyone else." "Well, where were they heading?" I asked, irritated that she was taking too long to answer my question. "The last I saw they were in the building..." "Yes, yes." I said, trying to hury her along. "And they didn't look like they were going to leave the building anytime soon." Just then the front of the building collapsed. The front door caved in, the windows were blown out and I could hear the sounds of an ensuing battle beginning. I had to get in there. Serena or one of the girls could be hurt. Running to the back of the building, I checked to make sure that no one was around. Right, then left. Good no ones looking. Quickly I pulled out a rose and transformed into Tuxedo Mask. In this form, I knew I was more powerful and that I could do things that no normal being could. I knew that I couln't beat that youma by myself. I had to make time so that the Sailor Scouts could get there, and while I'm at it I could look for Serena. Now to get into the building. Looking up at the building I saw that there was an open window and right next to that was a balcony. Easy enough. All I had to do was take a lead up there. No problem for someone like me. Taking one step forward I leapt towards the balcony. Then from there I went into the open window. From inside I could hear the battle downstairs. It was louder than it was outside. There were big thumps and the building frame could be heard groaning in protest from the beating. Practically running down the stairs, I formulated my plan of action. First thing first, find out what kind of enemy it was. What it's attacks were and what I could do to defeat it. When I got down to the bottom floor I saw, to my surprize, that the Sailor Senshi were already there. But where was Serena. And her friends... And how did the Senshi get in without my noticing it. From my position I could see that Sailor Mercury was using her visor to analyze the youma while Jupiter and Venus kept it busy. Meanwhile Mars was protecting Sailor Moon. It looked as if she had been drained of most of her energy. To my right I heard Venus let out a yell. Apparently she had been hit by a surprise attack from the youma. Jupiter looked steamed. She let out a battle cry that I swear could be heard all the way accross town. Then she proceeded to power up to use her lightening attack. Mercury ran towards Venus and from what I could see she was seeing if there was any major damage. Just before the youma could make an attack on Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars, Jupiter hit it with a powerful sphere of condensed lightening. The attack drove the youma all the way accross the room and into the wall. When the youma fell to the ground the rest of the Senshi all formed a circle around Sailor Moon. With the Senshi busy talking to each other, I saw that the youma was getting up. Obviously the attack from Jupiter wasn't enough. The youma jumped up into the air and vine-like hands protruded from it's sides. Torn between looking for Serena, though I still couln't figure out why when it looked as if she and her friends had made it out, and helping the Senshi, who were all unaware of the impending attack from the plant-like youma. Deciding quickly I produced a red rose and threw it at the youma. Momentarily stunned the youma fell to the floor, kept blinking its eyes and shaking its head. Before it could realize what was going on I took out my cane, which I used like a bo, and launched myself at the youma giving it a solid side kick then a quick jab then to finish it I used a rounhouse combo of a frontal kick and side punch. By now I could see that Sailor Moon was up to par, and was ready to 'dust' the youma as she called it. Unfortunately the youma was more powerful than any of us had thought. Sailor Moon was halfway finished with completing the process of using her crescent wand, as I'd seen her do many times before, when the youma, in a startling quick move, lunged for her neck with a metal stileto that it had produced from it's arm. It was a reflexive action. I didn't even know I did it untill it was done. I jumped in between Sailor Moon and the youma. The youma was on target. If I hadn't have jumped in between them, Sailor Moon's head would have been on the ground. Instead the youma's weapon hit it's mark in my chest. Groaning, I fell to the ground and, I'm sorry to say, passsed out. The next thing I knew I was surrounded by five Senshi in various colors. Sailor Moon was the first to speak, her voice sparking some sort of recognition in me, though I couldn't keep hold of it long enough to identify it. Her clear blue eyes held a world of worry in them, and for me no less. "Are you all right, Tuxedo Mask." "Yes, but what happened?" "Well, after you fell, Mars hit the youma with her Celestial Fire and then Ser..., I mean Sailor Moon dusted it with her wand." Jupiter answered my question. Touching her ear lightly Mercury's visor appeared. She scanned my chest then said, "Looks like the wand healed him and at the same time killed the youma. You're almost as good as new, Tuxedo Mask. You sustained no major injuries and you can go on your way as long as you don't strain the rib area any more than you usually would." "All right, thank you Mercury," I replied. I got up from my reclining position then I walked away hearing behind me from one of the Senshi, though I don't know which one. "Great going Jupiter you almost gave Sailor Moon away." I heard Mars's cutting voice. "Well, it was an accident..." I heard Jupiter's voice, getting fainter and fainter as I walked farther away. When I got out of the building I detransformed then went back around to the front of the building, hopping against hope that Serena, or at least someone who knew her, would know if she had gotten out safely. I spotted Andrew immediately. "Hey, Andrew. Have you seen Serena or any of the other girls." "Yea. They just made it out a couple of minutes ago. They made it out of a broken window on the side of the building. Other than being dirty and all they looked fine." Chad added, "And since the wake-a-thon was interrupted, dude, the spokes lady said that they would be holding the wake-a-thon tomorrow night." Greg walked up behind Andrew and said, "Amy and the rest of the girls want to go home. But since Serena's parents are out of town with Mina's and Amy's mom I'm going to take them to Raye's temple." "She's all right then?" I asked. Obviously I had asked that with a little to much concern in my voice, because Andrew gave me a searching look. Not being able to look him in the face, I could feel my own face heating a little. And that was it for the night. I went home, to my lonely apartment, and went to sleep dreaming of crystal blue eyes and a voice that was full of happiness and cheer. Stay tuned for part three. Maybe in a couple of weeks.
