If you don't know who owns Sailor Moon and all their perspective characters then you are in need of some serious teaching. :) Summary: The conclusion to parst one and two of "I Knew I Loved Her When..." The next day as I was walking to school, I stopped at the corner for god knows why. But I did, and to my surprise a bundle of golden energy slammed into me with words of apology bursting forth. Even before I fell to the ground with Serena on top of me, I knew that everything would be all right. "Hey, Serena. Are you all right from last night?" Obviously I had surprised here with my question because she gave me a look that said, "who are you, what did you do with the real Darien?" "Uh, yeah. I'm fine. Why?" "Just asking. Did you hear that the wake-a-thon is being held tonight instead?" That seemed to be the right thing to say to here because she brightened immediately and started to talk non-stop about what she was going to bring (besides here friends). Then all of a sudden she stopped talking right in the middle of her monologue. "What's wrong?" I asked. It wasn't like her to stop like that, unless someone told her to "shut up." "I just realized that I have no ride to the wake-a-thon and I don't know where it's being held and... and I don't know what time it's going to start..." "Whoa, Meatball Head. Don't worry. I'll come pick you up for the fund-raiser. Don't worry so much." ~Hang on Darien, why are you being so nice to her all of a sudden?~ I asked myself. But I didn't want to think about that so before she could yell at me for calling her Meatball Head, I turned and left her with her mouth hanging open. Smirking a little at here expression I left and headed to school. I had a horrible time getting through classes that day. Little things that I could remember from the past couple of days kept coming to me. But I put that behind me and I tried the best I could to get through the rest of the day. By nightfall it was time to go and pick up Serena. I was *still* trying to figure out *why* I had offered to pick her up. When I walked up her driveway to go and knock on her door I noticed that Luna was out and next to her was Artemiss. I swear if I didn't know any better I would think that those two cats were talking! But cats couln't talk, everyone knew that. I was probaly punchy from lack of sleep. Knocking on Serena's front door her mother answered. She was wearing her hair up and was putting on her jacket. "Oh, you must be Darien. Serena mentioned that you would be the young man driving her to that wake-a-thon fund raiser." "Uh...Yes. I'm Darien." "Who's there, dear?" I could hear a distinctly male voice call out from what must have been the living room. From the expression on the man's face I would have to say that the man was Serena's father. He looked like he wanted to kill me. And I didn't even know the man. "Who are you? What are you doing here? What do you do for a living? What..." He didn't get to finish his barrage of questions because his wife interrupted him with a well placed nudge to his abdominal section with her elbow. "Darling, we'd better go now if we don't want to be late." I gave her a releived and thankful smile. Just then Serena came down the stairs. I don't know why but my heart started to beat faster all of a sudden. Strange but that had never happened to me before, especially with Serena as my hearts catalyst. Serena loaded her stuff into the back of my car, got in and we were off to the wake-a-thon. Thankfully the entire event did not go like the last time, no monsters coming to break up the evening. Through out the entire night there were all kinds of events planned for us, but Serena and her friends had other plans for themselves and the guys. We ate some delicious food that Lita brought. We got some laughs from Mina and Andrew and Raye told our fortunes. Though I don't particularly believe that my future soul-mate would be found after I suffered from some kind of life-altering decision. After that it was pretty quiet. If you don't count the arguments Serena had with Raye. Amy and Greg did some studying *sheesh*. By the time 4:00 in the morning came around everyone else was asleep, including Serena. I noticed this after it became suddently quiet. I looked down and saw that she had fallen asleep on my sleeping bag. I didn't want to wake her, she looked so peaceful. So I consoled myself to sleeping on an extra blanket I had brought with me. Unfortunately the Meatball Head had also taken my only pillow. So I sat on my banket and watched her sleep. So peacefull, so quiet. But she did sleep as if she was still full of energy. She moved around constantly with her arms and legs flung out around her. I watched her. And a voice inside me told me. It just came to me out of nowhere. I knew I loved her. I didn't know why or how, but I did know that I loved her. I sat that entire night and I watched her, full of light and happiness, sleep. Never exactly knowing what was ahead of me. Never knowing she was my destiny and that all the things we would have to face in the future would test our my love to the limit. All I knew in that single moment was that my life was changed forever. The end. Go ahead, tell me what you thought. I'm always open for you comments. Tell me what you thougt of my story.
