Untitled Prologue Usagi screamed. There was a bright white flash before her, making her temporarily blind. The monster in front of her lurched forward making a gagging noise as she/it grabbed another young teenager from the slimy goo that plastered three survivors against a wall; it was half gone. The goo was stringy and extremely sticky, like super glue for humans. Usagi was one of the three survivors, she watched in terror as the monster from the Negaforce clamped shut its hands on a young teenage boy. It squeezed shut so hard that Usagi heard his bones crack and split. Small drops of blood dripped from the boy's abdomen while he continued to scream but it was only in vain. Usagi wasn't able to take her eyes off of the monster... it was by far the worst one she had ever encountered. Since she was trapped against the wall with the two other teenagers she was not able to get her locket from her pant pocket, and her communicator was there also; she was not able to call the scouts for help, instead, she watched fearfully as more blood dripped to the floor. She saw something she did not expect... the mouth of the monster contracted, just like a snake. It had sharp teeth and a lot of rows of them. The boy screamed loudly when he saw what was coming. Stringy saliva stretched across the length of it's mouth. The boy struggled mercilessly against the sharp claws of the monster, but the more he struggled the more flesh was ripped from his body; blood started to gush from his multiple wounds. The boy was held up into the air, higher, and higher yet. The monster's mouth hung limply further down to the ground. It landed with an enormous thud against the concrete floor. There was a blood curtailing scream from the boy; Usagi wanted to look away, she wanted to cry, but it was useless. She would be next in the line... two of them had already been devoured brutally by the huge youma. Making no exceptions in the process, the first victim had been poisoned, then torn to shreds, bones were detached from each small particle of cartilage, to the very bare part of the bone marrow inside of the bone itself. Usagi turned her head away at the very last minute, but was still able to hear the quickly nullifying scream of the departing teenage boy. Tears fell down her cheeks; feeling guilty for not being able to save the boy. It was her duty, and he probably wasn't even fourteen yet... way to young to end his life. The tear ducts near her eyes stung, and she growled beneath her own breath, and cussed at the youma. Usagi's clear blue eyes glazed over with a cold substitute, she wanted to kill this thing, she wanted to murder it. She wanted to turn this thing into moon dust. But it was way out of her control, the scouts were unable to reach. The disgusting, bulky thing looked at her way and gagged. It seemed as if it were going to vomit. It gagged again, and yet again, until she saw this bubble transitioning from the bottomless pit of it's stomach to it's clavicle. It took form from a shapeless blob to a long thing that was curving inside of the throat. The thing burped loudly and coughed up what looked like an arm. A wave of sour gasses escaped it's mouth and surrounded her. It choked her; it was thick and somewhat slimy. Like it was the goo that encased her against the wall. Everything happened so quickly after that. The youma walked up to her and cackled like an old witch. But as she prayed to the Lord and said her last good-byes, and shed her last tears, she absolutely knew that it could not get any worse. But she was wrong. The place that she was trapped in became very cold, she froze with terror hidden in her eyes. A sharp wind was freezing everything within reach, everything around in this basement was icing over. A can of whipped cream suddenly combusted from the intense cold. Her sense of hearing became slow, and every sound she heard was eerie and slurred. She was slowly freezing to death. She had never felt this cold before in her life... this was zero degrees easily. Her eyes stopped tearing. The air had become so dry that she could not shed tears any more. My eyelashes became icicles and were making my eye lids very heavy. She was about to give up when she heard a bang. With the little strength that she had left she turned her neck in the direction the bang came from. There was another one, and this time the monster looked behind itself. He decided it was nothing and continued advancing on her. She was completely helpless right now, no one knew she was here, no one knew that anyone was here, much less two dead teenagers, three suffering teenagers, and a huge monster who had caused all of this. But Usagi heard the same bang again, only this time it sounded like a crash instead of a bang. The monster stopped it's advanced and looked at her quietly, then screeched loud shrill enough to crack the Liberty Bell, again! Then, she heard a low rumble arising from the underground. Another crash was heard... the room suddenly became warm again, all of the ice melted and dripped to the floor. A cloud arose from the floor and sucked the monster deep within a crack that had somehow miraculously formed. It disappeared just as quickly as it had come. The door from atop the stairs slammed down on the steps and slid all the way down to the hard floor that was now covered in water. The cavalry had come... too late, as usual. Usagi heard the swat squad quickly run down the stairs and looked around the corner to find blood mixed in with the ice water on the floor, three surviving people, and only one was conscience. Usagi was the only one who was conscience and well. Usagi sighed, and then cried in despair, despair for what she did not know... it was probably because she knew it wasn't over, for good. So how was it? Good, bad?? I want feedback?? Kay? Good! You can e-mail me at... angel173145@hotmail.com !! bu-bye!!!
