Moonlight and Roses by Sailor Lunar Rose

Disclaimers: sailor moon is not mine, nor are any of the characters. Please 
don't sue me for more than ten dollars because then I would have to go to 
jail. A big thanks To Alicia blade who is the greatest fanfic writer and she 
got me to try to write this. I know you hear this a lot but, this is my first 
fan fic. It is a romance fan fic, so All you mushy people out there... This

Chapter one


    "How does this look?" Serena asked, spinning around so everyone could 
see. 
"Nice. But Serena, don't you think it's a bit much? I mean, you're just going 
out for ice cream." Lita commented eying the price tag.
    "Naw, I can afford it. I just got my allowance for this week and I've 
been saving up. Besides, it's a special occasion. This is my first "real" 
date and I plan to make the most of it." She turned again to the mirror to 
check her apperance. 
    The dress was a blue flowered sun dress spotted with sunlowers and tied 
in the back with a bow accented with some yellow lace. It fit her frame 
perfectly and went down to her knees. The blue brought out her  blue eyes as 
the yelow did with her blonde meatball headed hair.
    "Yeah, Serena. Knowing you, you'll probably slobber all over the dress 
with ice cream and ruin it. Now what would your date think about that? He 
probably won't even live through the whole tramatic ordeal. What if you clutz 
out and knock him off a bridge or something? I can see the head lines now, 
'Clutzoid Queen kills date in accident.' " Raye Teased, glaring at Serena.
    "Raye stop..." Amy started to say, but it was to late.
    "Oh no, here it comes" Lita grumbled covering her ears.
    "Why you little!!!!!!" Serena screamed taking off after Raye full speed. 
But of course when Raye turned Serena careened into another body sending both 
of them toppling over.
    All of Serena's friends cringed when she made impact. 
    "Oof" Was all she could say before she found herself spawled out on the 
floor.
    "Owch!!!!! Hey, watch it meatball brain. You trying to kill somebody 
here?" Darien said, now picking himself up off the floor.
    "You?! I should have known. Why don't you watch where you're going 
Darien!" Serena replied still using the high decibles.
    "Serena keep it down. You already look like a monkey, you don't have to 
sound like one too."
    " I do NOT look like a monkey Darien! You do so Ha!"
    "Me?!" Darien said now a bit louder. 
    " Yeah you, genious!!!! and you say I'm stupid!"
    "At least I pass My tests meatball head!" Now Darien was yelling as loud 
as Serena.
    "Ugh! You, You..." Serena stopped, once she noticed that the entire 
store, including two security guards, were staring at them.
    "Umm... we don't know these people." Mina said before she and three other 
girls ran out the door leaving a dumbstruck Serena and Darien to the mercy of 
the security guards and now a furious looking store manager.
    " Excuse me but you two are going to have to leave." The manager said 
pointing to the door.
    " Yeah, uh... I kinda figured that." Serena bowed her head before giving 
the manager some money for the dress.
    "Umm...  and k-keep the change." A now flustered Serena whispered before 
running out the door after her friends.
    Darien just shook his head and followed the blonde out the door.
