Hi, all you sailor moon fans and fanfic readers. I just wanted to tell you 
that this story didn't really make too much sense in the beginning, Sorry 
about that! But please keep reading... it will get better. 
    Much thanks to Alicia Blade for all the trouble we had getting thisthing 
set up. I'm sorry about that too, Alicia, if you're reading. 
    This will be a chapter story so if it didn't make too much sense to
anybody so far, it will in the end. I'm basing this story right aftervenus 
comes but before the episode of  "crystal clear destiny." So, pleasesend

    There will Be some sailor action in this, but mostly it will beromance.

Chapter 2: Warnings

    Serena stormed out of the store at lightning speed. That guy canmake me 
so steamed! she thought.  She entered the park where she would take the
shortcut to her house. Down a cobblestone path, over a bridge, andright onto 
another path that led to the corner of the park, just one block fromher house.
    The quiet of the park quickly calmed her down and before she knewit she 
was skipping down the path humming her favorite song. She looked aheadand 
smiled at the sight she saw; a couple cuddling on a parkbench gazinglovingly 
into eachother's eyes. That just might be me tonight with John. Serenasmiled 
at the thought. She couldn't believe that John actually asked her out! 
*flash back*    
    "Hey Serena wait up! I wanna ask you a VERY important question..." 
    Serena turned to see John coming toward her. He had Light blue eyesand 
brown hair that seemed to fall perfectly into his eyes.
    "Uh... Hi John. What did you want to talk to me about?" Serenaasked 
happily walking up to him. 
    He was the most popular boy in school, and though he did have avery long 
list of dumped girlfriends, every girl in the school still wanted to goout 
with him.    "I was just wondering if you were busy friday night. Maybe we can
go out for Icecream or something..." He said the "Or somthing" part very fast
but Serena didn't seem to notice.
    Don't sound too eager Serena told herself as she replied, "Really?!Oh, 
um I mean... uh I guess if your not busy..." Oh yeah really smooththere 
Serena, not eager at all. She mentally kicked her self for that one.
    "Great I'll pick you up for seven then, k?" And he left withoutletting 
serena object, but of course Serena wasn't going to anyway. The secondhe was 
out of sight she must have jumped 20 feet in the air. 
"Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"*End of flashback*
    Serena walked down her street, entered her house and ran up herroom to 
get ready.

    Darien was sitting in one of the booths at the arcade staring intohis 
glass. He thought back just a half an hour ago where he had met up withhis 
Beautiful Meatballhead. Yes that's right, Beautiful. 
    He smiled when he thought of her. The way she looked, the way she 
smelled, every detail he had picked up while staring at her whenevershe 
wasn't looking. Yes there was no doubt in his mind that he cared abouther. 
But considering that she was 4 years younger than her and still soinnocent 
he didn't dare tell her how he felt. The way he saw it, it was his wayof 
protecting her. From what he was pretecting her from, he wasn't sure.All he 
knew was that she was perfect, and he didn't want her to get hurt orchange 
in anyway. So instead he admirred her from a distance like you would a 
delicate jewel or a priceless painting.
    Looking up from his glass he barely noticed a group of boys around16 or 
so walk in. He galnced at them and recognized one boy as John Cartman. 
    Darien had Met him once and hated him automaticly. There wassomething 
about him that just mad Darien's blood run cold. Darien had heard manyrumors 
of the way he treated women and how he would trick them into fallingfor him 
and take advantage of the unsuspecting victims.
    So Darien wasn't too surprised when he overheard John talking abouthis 
new "GirlToy", as he called it. But, what caught his attentoin wasn't the 
fact that he would try to lead her on, bring her to his place, or  thefact 
that he would try to seduce her. But more, the name of the new victim.
    "Yeah," John said nochalantly taking a whiff of his cigarette. "This 
time I got that Dumb Serena Chick. You know, the one with the weirdhair. She 
won't even know what hit her." John smirked nodding his head as helooked 
down at his watch. 5:33 pm.
    Darien's head flooded with emotion, No! Not Serena!

    Serena Sat in front of her vanity applying her make-up. Looking inthe 
mirror she pursed her lips and ran a stick of pink lip gloss over them."All 
finished" she said to herself not noticing that luna sat behind her.
    " And where do you think you are going Serena? We have sailorbuisness, 
remember? You have to start becoming more aware of our enemy. They arevery 
dangerous and..."
    Serena cut her off, " Luna can't scouts have any fun? We ARE humanyou 
know. Besides, this night can't be wasted on sailor stuff. I'll catchup on 
it later. Tonight I'm just going to be me, and with John!" Serenagiggled 
before she stood up and grabbed her matching blue  purse. 
    When she reached the hallway, Serena checked in her purse to makesure 
she had her communicator. "Just in-case" she mummbled before walkingout on 
to the streets of Tokyo ready for her date.

    Darien walked the streets aimlessly looking for any clue as towhere 
Serena would be.
He couldn't stand to think about what might happen to Serena if sheever met 
up with John. She was too good hearted and innocent to see what wasreally 
going on. He checked his watch for the 50th time in ten minuteswondering 
what to do. He had to protect her even if it meant that she would hatehim 
for the rest of her life. It would hurt him dearly if Serena were toget her 
feelings hurt, but her safety was the one thing that he had on hismind. That 
is, if your not counting the unmerciful things he wanted to do to Johnto 
make him pay for even THINKING about hurting Serena.
