“Moonlit Angel” Chapter One

Hey Peeps,
    It’s me again and I’ve got yet another story here! ^_^ And no, I’m not 
trying to copy “Fallen Angel” by: Sakura Girl, I just really loved the angel 
idea, but I'm sure our stories will end up being pretty different. Anyway, it 
takes place in the Silver Millennium and I'm mixing up the general names. Ex: 
Kunzite, Jedite, Neflyte, Zoycite. K? Cool.

Moonlit Angel: Angel - Chap. one 

   Prince Darien and his four generals, Kunzite, Neflite, Jedite, and 
Zoycite, were trotting slowly back, in the deep snow and slight moonlight, to 
the royal castle. They were discussing the usual...Darien’s love life...

   “Oh come on Darien, you’re parents are right; you should be engaged by 
now!” Neflyte said and Darien rolled his eyes.
   “Yea Dare, you’re 19 years old for heaven’s sake, get married already, 
would ya?!” Jedite added.
   “What about Beryl, what happened to her?” asked Kunzite and the guys 
cringed.
   “She’s still there, unfortunately. She’s too obnoxious, SHE CALLS ME 
DARE-BEAR!” Darien said, the guys burst out laughing.
   Then, it started to snow again.
   “We best hurry back or we’ll be snowed out of the castle.” said Zoycite 
and the others agreed. 
   They started faster in the direction of the castle, but suddenly stopped. 
There, in the middle of the, now pure white, woods, stood a girl. About 17 or 
18 in a white, lace, and silk, flowing dress: low cut V-neck and elbow 
sleeves. A white cape and hood at her back and if you looked closely enough, 
you could see a pair of pearly white, angel wings behind her. Bright sapphire 
blue eyes, long, knee length, golden hair which had a silver sheen to it, 
rosy cheeks, light pink lips, and ivory cream skin. 
   “I-is...is that...a-a..?” Jedite stuttered.
   “An angel.” Darien breathed.
   The angel looked straight into Darien’s eyes and gasped.
   Suddenly, a bright moonbeam shone down on the angel and she disappeared.
   “Did I just see that?” Kunzite asked, rubbing his eyes.
   Even their horses were stunned, standing still as statues with their eyes 
open wide and unblinking. 
   “Um, I-I think we should, uh, get back to the-um-the castle. The cold is 
DEFINITELY getting to us now.” Zoycite suggested. They, once more, nodded and 
trotted off.

dinner, in the royal castle)

   The five guys went to Darien’s room to discuss what happened in the woods.
   “Should we tell someone about it?” Neflyte asked and Kunzite shook his 
head.
   “Surely not, they’d think us crazy and probably lock us up.” Kunzite 
replied.
   “She sure was pretty.” Jadite interrupted and everyone sweat-dropped.
   “What do you think, Darien?” Zoycite turned to Darien, who was lying on 
his bed, hands folded behind his head, staring up at the ceiling.
   “I’m really tired guys, can we talk about this in the morning?” Darien 
asked and the guys just stared.
   Kunzite nodded, “Yea, okay, sure no problem.. uh, see you in the morning.” 
he said as they all walked out the door.
   Then, the door opened and Jedite peeked his head in, “Good night, 
Dare-Bear.” he said with a laugh and shut the door once again.
   Darien smiled and shook his head.
   “*sigh* I wonder what her name is...” he asked himself dreamily, picturing 
the angel in his mind before dozing off.

(Heaven)

   The angel appeared infront of a worried looking woman, about 60 years old. 
She looked up to see the angel standing there and she cried, “Oh Serena, 
where have you been, Dear?! I’ve been worried sick!!” Dirna said as she ran 
towards Serena and wrapped her tightly in her arms.
   Dirna was also an angel, Serena’s guardian angel. She was chosen to make 
sure Serena, Heaven’s most valuable angel, stayed safe and out of trouble. 
Over time she grew to love Serena as her own child.
   Serena laughed and Dirna looked down at the 5’3 feet tall blonde in her 
arms, “Well? Where were you?” she asked and Serena blushed.
   “You went down to earth again, didn’t you?”
   Serena nodded.
   “*sigh* Serena, am I going to do with you? You know you’re not to visit 
earth.” 
   “I know, I know, but I can’t help myself! And, oh, this time, I saw the 
most gorgeous man ever. He had the darkest, ebony black hair with long bangs 
that fell into his deep, midnight blue eyes, his skin was slightly tanned, 
and.. oh.. he was just too perfect.” she finished dreamily, then she looked 
over to a starry-eyed Dirna and smiled.
   “Wow.” Dirna breathed and Serena laughed, then yawned.
   “Well, I’m exhausted, I think I’ll go to bed now. Good night, Dirna.”
   “Good night, Serena.” and with that, Serena disappeared.

(morning in the royal castle)

   Kunzite, Jedite, Neflyte, and Zoycite busrt into Darien’s room, where he 
still slept, and plopped themselves on the bed, beside Darien’s sleeping form.
   “Rise and shine, Sleepy Head.” Kunzite said and ruffled the prince’s hair.
   Darien put his pillow over his head and mummled, “Go away.”
   “Aw, come on! What about the angel?” said Zoycite, starting to lift the 
pillow.
   Darien quickly pulled the pillow back from Zoycite, “Yes, the angel, I was 
just dreaming about her. Leave me to finish my dream.” he mummbled once again 
and the others laughed.
   “Just get up, we’re going back to the woods today, if we’re lucky, she’ll 
be there.” said Neflyte.
   “Let’s not and say we did.” Darien suggested and snuggled deeper into the 
warm comforters of his bed.
   “Okay, that’s IT! Get off your lazy ass and get the hell outa bed! Do 
something useful, why don’tcha?!” Jedite suddenly yelled and everyone stared 
at him, he blushed.
   “Alright, alright, no need to go postal.” Darien said, taking the pillow 
off his head and sitting up.

   When Darien came out of his room, the five guys went to get their horses, 
all of which were cream colored, save Darien’s which was the color of his 
ebony hair.

(in the woods)

   “I don’t think she’s coming...or atleast not anytime soon.” Zoycite said, 
leaning against a tree.
   “Hm.. Hey, where’s Darien?” Neflyte asked.
   “He went down to the waterfall.” Jedite answered, pointing down the trail 
to the waterfall.
   “Oh. You know, that waterfall IS pretty, but it gives me the willies. I 
mean, it’s the middle of December and that thing’s still flowing like it’s 
Spring.”
   “Yea, that is kinda strange.” Kunzite added.
   “Oh well, will someone PLEASE go get Prince “Dare-Bear” so we can leave, 
I’m starved!” Zoycite whined.
   Kunzite rolled his eyes, “I’ll get him.”

(waterfall)

   Darien lay quietly on the left over snow, looking up at the sky, wondering 
about the angel.
   ‘I wish I could see her again.. she was so beautiful: that hair and those 
eyes.’ he thought and closed his eyes as a cold breeze blew by.
   “Sunset.” the wind seemed to say, but Darien ignored it, telling himself 
he was going crazy.
   “Sunset.” it said, this time louder, making Darien sit up.
   “What about sunset?” he asked.
   “Come back at sunset.” it replied as the wind seemed to get a little 
warmer.
   “What? Why?”
   “She’ll be here.”
   “Who?”
   “The angel.”
   “Darien! Come on, we’re leaving!” he heard Kunzite’s voice yell behind him.
   He stood up slowly and walked over to Kunzite.
   “Sunset.” the wind whispered once more.
   Kunzite turned to face Darien, “Did you hear that?”
   “Hear what?” Darien answered quickly. “I didn’t hear anything.”
   Kunzite gave him an odd look then shrugged and began walking to the 
others. Darien sighed and followed.

(far side of Heaven)

   “You have done well, Destiny, keep it up.” a man with long brown hair 
said, and put his hand on the girl’s head, who was kneeling in front of him.
   The girl, Destiny, smiled and stood. She had light emerald eyes and curly, 
honey brown hair that fell to her mid-back. (AN: no, it’s not Lita.) She wore 
round neck, long sleeved, whit dress.
   “Thank you, My Lord.” she said and bowed her head to the man.
   He nodded, “You may go now, Child.” he said and she disappeared.
