Royal Flush the Sequel.....Part 4

Serena hummed to herself as she shifted her wait from one foot to the other. 
The bag she was holding in her hand was making hurt. Finally, the elevator 
stopped on the 10th floor and Serena carefully made her way down the halls.

Soon she came to a familiar office and walked in. She made her way over to a 
large desk and suddenly heard a familiar voice call her name.

“Hey Serena! What brings you here today?” Kate smiled up at the petite 
blond. She had gotten to know Serena pretty well in the couple of weeks that 
she and Darien had been dating. Serena stopping by to bring Darien lunch 
wasn’t unusual.

“Hiya Kate! Is Darien busy right now?” Serena asked, hoping the answer is 
no.

“I’m not sure let me check.” Kate picked up the black phone sitting next to 
her and pressed a couple buttons on it.

“Yeah?” Darien’s voice came out over the speaker.

“Mr. Chiba, you have a visitor.” Kate informed him.

“I do? Who is it?” Darien’s voice was confused.

“Uh......It’s Mr. Hytens.” Kate grinned mischievously  at Serena, and she 
giggled slightly.

“Mr. Hytens? His meeting is tomorrow.” Darien argued, wondering what was 
going on.

“No, today is his meeting. Would you like me to send him in?” Kate asked.

“Yes, of course!” Darien said quickly.

“You may go in Mr. Hytens.” Kate laughed. Serena smiled and made her way in.

“Mr. Hytens, I apologize for messing up your meeting dates.......” Darien 
rushed out as soon as the door opened until he realize that his visit was 
not a man, but his Meatball Head.

“I’m gonna shoot Kate.” Darien mumbled, but walked over and wrapped Serena 
in a loving hug. Then he kissed her lips gently.

“Hey Muffin, ready for lunch?” Serena held up the bag that she was holding. 
Darien led her over to his desk and pulled up an extra chair. They sat there 
for a few minutes in silence, just eating their McDonalds (*AN: Was there 
any doubt? It’s the best food out there!!!)

Soon the silence was filled with talk about tonight’s plans and what they 
were going to do the rest of this week. Then Serena started laughing.

“What?” Darien asked, totally lost.

“Oh, I just remembered something I found out last night. After dinner, I 
went over to talk to Raye, and I sort-of ease dropped on her phone 
conversation because she was talking to Lita, Mina and Amy and they have a 
bet as to how long were gonna be together before one of us kills each 
other.” Serena was laughing so hard she almost spit out her french fries.

“What else?” Darien asked when she was able to talk again, curiosity getting 
the best of him.

“Oh, well Raye said we wouldn’t make it past 1st month without me killing 
you because she doesn’t think you’d be likely to hit a girl. And Mina, the 
helpless romantic said that they would be eating their words at our wedding. 
Amy didn’t comment and Lita said that we would go at least a few months 
before we got tired of the endless amount of pet names we have and 
break-up.” By now, both of them were laughing. And all Darien could think of 
as he stood up was how lucky he was to have this beautiful angel with him. 
Her walked around and pulled her up into a strong embrace.

“I think that for once Mina is right.” Darien whispered quietly as they held 
each other close. For a few minutes, that’s all they did, until Serena 
glanced at the clock. It was 11:45.

“Oh my gosh! I have to go and meet the girl’s at Raye’s temple in 15 
minutes!! Their gonna skin me if I’m late again!” Serena cried as she 
hurriedly cleaned up Darien’s office.

“See ya tonight Muffin!” Serena called as she got ready to run out the door, 
but Darien grabbed her.

“Don’t I get a good-bye kiss?” he asked in mock sadness. Serena sighed, but 
stood up on her tip-toes and gently kissed his lips.

Then she bolted out the door.

*******************

“Oh my gosh. The world is coming to an end.” Lita said, as everyone looked 
at what she was seeing. Here came Serena running up the temple steps, three 
minutes early for a meeting! They all gasped in surprise.

“Well, well. I’m very proud Serena. Your here on time.” Luna stated from the 
window sill, sitting next to Artemis.

“Yeah yeah. I hope you know how fast I had to run to get over here so I 
didn’t have to listen to Raye’s big mouth.” Serena stated.

“Hey! I don’t have that big of a mouth!” argued Raye. She and Serena stood 
up to face each other, and the others got ‘sweatdrops’. They could already 
see another one of their ever popular tongue wars. Lita stepped in before 
anything could erupt.

“Don’t you think that we should be talking about who’s gonna bring what to 
the picinic tonight?” Serena’s eyes lit up as she thought about the picinic 
that night and all the food.

“Well, I think that Lita’s bringing most of the food, or at least will.” 
Mina smiled. “And I can bring some brownies I guess.”

“I have a couple giant blankets we can use too.” Serena piped up.

“I’m planning on bringing the drinks.” Amy added, looking up from her 
homework.

“I’m going to bring some games too.” Raye said.

“Like what? Spin the bottle?” Mina joked. She leaned over and whispered 
something to Lita, causing her to burst out laughing.

Raye shot a *very* angry look in there way, Amy looked as if she was trying 
her hardest not to laugh and Luna and Artemis were rolling their eyes.

“What?” Serena knew something was gong on and she wanted to know what.

“Forget about it.” Raye mumbled.

“Oh my gosh! Your blushing! The high and mighty Raye Hino is actually 
blushing!!” Serena laughed hysterically, and soon so was everyone else, 
except Raye.

“HEY! We have business to discuss about the NegaVerse you know!” Raye 
shouted, shutting everyone up.

“She’s right. Were having this meeting because I’m getting worried.” Luna 
stated. “The NegaVerse hasn’t attacked in a while and I wonder what they 
have in store.”

“Maybe they realized that they can’t beat us and gave up.” Serena suggested 
hopefully.

“I don't’ think so. They were after the Imperium Silver Crystal and that was 
too important to them. Whoever posses the crystal, posses the most powerful 
thing in the whole universe!” Luna explained.

“Is that why we have to find the missing princess?” Amy asked.

“Yes.” Artemis answered this time. “The ancient Moon Princess is the only 
one that can weld the power and defeat the NegaVerse.”

“No she isn’t! The Sailor Scouts could do it!” Serena complained.

“Yeah!” Raye, Lita and Mina all cried.

“The NegaVerse are the ones that destroyed the Moon Kingdom back during the 
Silver Millennium. The Queen couldn’t defeat them alone, but the Princess, 
along with the Sailor Scouts, can defeat them I bet.” Luna said.

“But back to the picinic. Is everyone coming?” Mina asked.

Soon everyone’s thoughts turned back to normal teenage thoughts, and not 
those of super heroines, destine to save their world. Little did they know 
that the legendary last Moon Princess of the Silver Millennium and the 
Eternal Messiah, savior of the galaxy, was the Meatball Headed leader 
sitting among them.

***********Later That night************

Laughter filled the air. Anyone who was walking by couldn’t help but smile 
at the picture everyone made. Mina was kidding with Amy, causing her to 
blush and Greg too for that matter. Lita and Ken were lost in their own 
little world, talking. Raye and Rita were talking about the latest fashions 
they had read about in Seventeen and Chad and Andrew were talking about the 
latest musicians. As for Serena and Darien, they were laying up against a 
tree, totally oblivious to everyone else.

“Okay! We have got to play a game now before it gets too dark!” Mina yelled, 
breaking everyone out of their thoughts. The sun would be setting soon and 
they doubt the flashlights and portable lamps they brought would be enough.

“So, what are we going to play first?” Ken asked, draping his arm casually 
over Lita’s shoulders.

“How about Twister?” Raye suggested. Everyone readily agreed, except for a 
few of the guys. Darien, Andrew, and Chad all backed up.

“Oh no, were not playing that.” Andrew laughed, looking right at Rita.

“Oh yes you are.” She grabbed him by the hand and drug him over to where 
Lita and Mina were busy setting out the Twister blanket.

Chad took one look at Raye’s face and knew that he couldn't’ argue. He 
walked over with the rest, defeated. Raye was right behind him, a look of 
victory present in her eyes.

Darien glanced down at Serena’s gaze.

“Please Muffin.” She begged, edging her body closer to him. He could feel 
all of his defenses slowly starting to fall. “Pretty please, for me?”

“Oh, alright.” he sighed as Serena let out a little shout and took his hand 
leading him over with everyone else.

Soon they were involved in their game, lost in their own little world. 
Laughing and joking was going around. The Scouts couldn't’ remember a time 
when they had felt so alive and not a one of them was worried about the 
NegaVerse or Scout business until a bright flash of light appeared in the 
sky.

Everyone fell to the ground and fought desperately to untangle themselves 
from each other. They looked to the sky to see a not-so-good looking 
creature hovering about 5 feet in front of them.

“Hello.” She hissed, her voice soft and menacing. “I am Gambina, warrior of 
the NegaVerse. And I am here to capture you Sailor Scouts.”

“Wha....what......are you talking.....about?” Lita stuttered. They all 
glanced fearfully at each other, wondering how they knew.

“Were not the Sailor Scouts. I mean look at us. Were just normal teenagers.” 
Serena cried, burring herself deeper into Darien’s protective arms.

‘Could they be here because of me? Because they also know that I’m Tuxedo 
Mask?’ Darien wondered silently, but didn't’ utter a word out loud.

“I have my orders from Queen Beryl and I’m here to carry them out.” A large 
white ball of energy shot out from a long staff in her hands and enveloped 
the large group in it.

*******

“Ouch!”  Everyone landed with a hard thud on the stone floor. They stood up 
to study their surrounding, only to find that they could barley see 
anything. They faintly saw Gambina in front of them as she lit something 
with caused the whole room to come ablaze with light.

“Don’t try to escape, you puny Scouts. This room is protected from your weak 
powers. Now my little minions, destroy the retched Scouts and their little 
friends.” With that, Gambina threw out about 20 playing cards. They seemed 
like normal everything cards until they started glowing. They soon grew to 
almost 6 feet tall a developed hand and feet and eyes. They cards began to 
surround the group. The Scouts looked at each other and knew they only had 
one choice.

“I don’t know who you think you are, but you can not take us and our friends 
think that your going to kill us. In the name of the moon.....” Serena 
stepped forward, soon followed by the others.

“In the name of Mars.”

“On behalf of Jupiter.”

“By the power of Venus.”

“And with the wisdom of Mercury.”

“We will punish you.” Serena threw up her hand in the air with held a small 
locket and shouted the phrase that she seemed to yell almost every night.

“Moon Star Power!”

The others followed her example, raising their own hands in to the air.

“Mars Power!”

“Jupiter Power!”

“Venus Power!”

“Mercury Power!”

Soon, five Scouts were standing in front of their friends.

“You guys get back and stay out of the way.” Mars commanded.

“We’ll explain everything later.” Moon added.

“Mercury, can you scan them to see what their weakness is?” Jupiter asked. 
Mercury nodded and activated her computer.

Sailor Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Venus were busy attacking the monster from 
all angles. The guys and Rita watched from the safety of the farthest wall, 
starting at their friends in amazement.

“I don’t believe this.........” Andrew mumbled. Greg, not uttering a word, 
was the only one there the wasn’t in shock. He was too busy trying to help 
Mercury figure out a weakness.

Out of no where, a large stream of energy was headed straight for Sailor 
Moon. Moon couldn’t see it, her back was turned the other way. But Darien 
saw it. Without a moments hesitation, he threw a steel tipped rose at the 
energy beam, destroying it. Moon noticed this and turned around, and seeing 
the red rose on the ground, looked over the in the other direction. There 
was Chad and Ken backed up far against the wall, watching over Mars and 
Jupiter. Greg was on the floor, assisting Mercury. Andrew was holding Rita 
close and Darien was standing there holding.........a............rose?? He 
winked at Moon then raised the rose high in the air. In a matter of seconds 
there stood Tuxedo Mask where Darien Chiba had once stood.

Everyone gasped. Sailor Moon watched in awe as Tuxedo Mask jumped over to 
stand next to her.

“You....your....Darien your Tuxedo Mask?” Sailor Moon managed to choke out.

“Well, never thought my little meatball head would be Sailor Moon.” Tux 
whispered back, keeping his eyes on the battle. “ What do you say we finish 
this thing off and get back home?” Moon nodded her head and took a fighting 
stance.

The Scouts regrouped and looked around. This was going to be a long battle. 
The looked sadly at Mercury who was standing with them, unable to find a 
weakness.
