Thank you everyone. Love to all, Golden Usagi @--}--- Disclaimer: I do not own Sailormoon, though, I wish I did. Epilogue: Finally, Our Dreams Have Come True Serena rounded the corner of Lilac St. and began to head up the next street leading toward the Crown Arcade. Her heart was pounding wildly in her chest, from one of two reasons. One, being that she had run all the way from home to get to her destination, and two, being she truly believed that this could quite possibly be her true journey to her destiny. She smiled brightly as she remembered her last night in the hospital talking all night with Darien. Not one word of cruelty or rudeness had escaped either of their lips. They simply were together. Serena remembered a feeling of complete trust, safety...as well as true love... just floating around the two carelessly. He loved her...she just knew it now...he truly loved her...but what was next? She was sure just being with him again, would provide just the answer she needed to this question. She reached the arcade doors breathlessly. She had been so deep in thought she had barely noticed herself passing by arcade. She blushed slightly at her slight brainless behavior and walked in. "Hey Andrew!" She chirped happily as she walked up to the counter Andrew her favorite "Arcade guy" was standing behind as he casually dried off a few tall sundae glasses. He stopped in his work and smiled down at the an excited and quite out of breath Serena. "Hello there Serena, I'm glad to see you're doing better. You look really cheerful today, something up?" He asked curiously. Serena bit her lip and looked up at him with a slightly secretive smile. "Just something that happened yesterday..." "Ahh...well might it have anything to do with a certain ebony haired man revealing some slightly interesting news yesterday at the hospital...?" Andrew asked with a wink. Serena blushes and smiled widely. "Maybe..." Andrew laughed. "Well, how would you like a nice tall chocolate milkshake with extra whipped cream and *two* cherries on top" Andrew asked. "To celebrate you and Darien's defeat in the famous *Serena and Darien Battles*" Andrew laughed. "Ohhh! That sounds great Andrew!" Serena said smiling. "Yes, I agree, that sounds like a great idea Andrew" came a familiar voice from behind Serena. Serena blushed and turned to face a tall, jet black haired man with a green-cover jacket over his casual black shirt and with his khaki pants. His sapphire gaze pierced hers as their eyes locked for a moment and yet another blush crossed her cheeks. Darien smiled down at her shyness and sat down in a bar stool next to hers. "Hey Andrew" Darien said the continued with. "The usual buddy". "Hey dude, sure, I'll go and get it, are you sure you don't want any sugar with that black coffee of yours? Maybe a two straws for the sundae Serena ordered..." He asked as he rolled his eyes slightly and gave a slight chuckle. Darien shook his head slighly and turned his attention back to the goddess at his side. She smiled up to him softly and he smiled back with intense emotion. Both felt intense feelings toward one another and didn't have any idea on how they were to begin to speak to each other. Darien and Serena both looked up from their immense gaze they had been Exchanging when Andrew walked in holding their orders and gave them a slight smirk. "No making out in my arcade now you two." Andrew said with yet another smirk and a wink. Darien looked up and glared at him with cool icy eyes and Andrew began to laugh slightly as he placed a hot black cup of coffee before Darien, and a cold tall chocolate sundae in front Serena. She wasted no time in picking off the two cherries and stuffing them in her mouth. Andrew handed her a spoon which she gladly excepted and began to dig into her shake quite quickly and hungrily. Darien held back the laughter that was growing inside of himself at the site of such a small girl eating like she had never eaten in her life. It was absolutely adorable...but then again anything she did these days was adorable...he just couldn't help thinking that. Serena remembered why she was at the arcade abruptly and who was sitting at her side and she practically jumped up from her little chocolate heaven. She felt a slight blush crossing her cheeks again...she had been blushing a lot lately...should she get used to this? She looked up into the amused eyes of Darien and looked down slightly in embarrassment. Darien smiled warmly down to her and lifter her face back to level with his own, only causing her to blush further. He chuckled slightly to himself and just as she finished her cold treat he threw some money on the counter. He leaned toward her and whispered softly in her ear... *"Let's go for a walk little bunny...we need to talk alone... and watching you is driving me crazy...I want to hold you so much..."* He said softly as he kissed her ear gently...and slowly for a moment and she shivered beneath him. He smiled and stood up, taking her hand in his and turning and giving a slight nod to Andrew. "You two have fun now" Andrew laughed to them causing both to blush slightly and for Serena to bite down tightly on her lip. Darien never let go of Serena's hand as they walked out of the arcade and began to walk down Tokyo Dr. nonchalantly. Passer bys could be heard saying such things as: "My...what a handsome young couple..." "Look at those two adorable kids in love...it reminds me of the two of us when we first started out darling..." "My...I wish I could be as lucky as him/her...look at how happy they are...and imagine being able to be with someone that dreamy/vivacious..." These were all things that the two heard and the smiled shyly to one another. They reached Tokyo Park and entered slowly looking around and Darien led her to his favorite place...which was of course...the Rose Gardens. Serena smiled brightly as they entered the ivy curtained gardens and looked around in curiosity. She almost laughed out loud when she saw the fake waterfall fountain she had fallen off of only a few days before. She reached up and touched her forehead for a moment in remembrance. It didn't hurt so much anymore...but most of all, she just didn't care that she had been hurt in the whole incident. She would forever remember that day as the one that brought she and Darien closer together. Darien turned to her as he noticed her looking at the fountain. Serena allowed her hand to fall to her side once again and looked up as Darien's gaze shifted to look into her clear blue eyes...blue clashing with blue, intensely. He smiled to her gently and kissed her forehead, he was also remembering the whole incident, and also thinking that that day had been when his poor little angel was hurt and he was finally allowed to take care of her by some miracle. He leaned down and wrapped his arms around causing slight gasp to escape from her lips. She leaned back against him and looked up into his loving eyes. "Serena...I love you so much...I'm sorry I couldn't tell you before...but I was so afraid...can you forgive me...and be willing to be with me, and love me..." Darien said as his eyes fell to the ground. "Even though I don't deserve to breath the same air you breath...let alone hold you in my arms as I do now..." He said weakly but never let his old slip from around her slim waist. Serena turned in his arms and faced him, causing his eyes to lift back from the ground. She smiled softly and placed her finger over his lips. "Shh...Darien...I love you more then anything...that will never change...and my heart longs for yours...you deserve me more then I deserve you..." She said softly and quieted Darien before he could quiet her words. "But..." Darien started. "Shh...just listen...I love you too...and I'd give anything to be with you..." She said softly a bright blush covering her face becomingly. Darien's breath caught in his throat. She wanted to be with him as well. She had said it...what he thought to be true, he had never been sure until this moment, had been confirmed. He felt a whirl-wind of emotions fly through his mind and he found himself unable to think at all... All he could feel was all of his greatest wishes coming true... and looked at Serena and smiled the most breathtaking smile. Serena found herself unable to think as she saw the most beautiful smile she has ever seen. She felt as if ever dream she had ever had could never compare to this very moment. Darien could feel both of their hearts racing and he wrapped his arm slightly more tightly around her waist and pulled her closely. Their bodies seemed to mold together perfectly...like they were parts to a great puzzle and had finally found their matching pieces. Her fragile body shook slightly beneath him but his passion growing he pulled her closer. His lips began to grow slightly closer to hers causing Serena's mind to become completely blank and her heart to fly. Her eyes began to drift close as his breath could be felt just above her lips. Darien looked down at the little dazed nymph and thought of how beautiful she looked...so young...so willing... He leaned forward laying his lips to her as he kissed her lips gently...only deepening his kiss as he felt her respond and kiss back. His kisses became more intense and brutal, filled with desire and passion...he felt her weaken beneath him. He pulled up gently and looked at the little goddess lying in his arms. She looked so fragile...so tender. Her eyes blinked a few times and she opened them fully to smile at him dazed. "My beautiful little bunny..." He said hoarshly with passion still apart in his voice. Serena looked up at him and could feel new feeling stirring with-in her. She didn't know what it was exactly...but the word 'passion..." floated carelessly passed her mind. She looked up to him with a slightly pleading look and allowed their eyes to meet. Darien understood her look only all to well...assuming the same look was covering his own face. He leaned down wrapping his arms more fully around her taking her lips for his own again. They kissed almost immediately passionately...they hadn't realized they had both been aching for such a kiss from one another for a long time. Once again Darien felt her knees weaken beneath him, but this time he wasn't ready to let her go. He lifted her up easily and held her closely allowing his kisses to travel along her soft neck..and beautiful collar bone...the passion was becoming almost to much to control for him. He pulled away...to the disappointment of both of them. But she was young and Darien knew that had plenty of time to fill this hunger that seemed to fill them both. He set her down gently and Serena stood somewhat wobbly. Darien wrapped one arm around her and steaded her gently. They both stood quiet for a moment not finding words to describe their own feelings. They looked at the rose gardens beautiful roses, of many colors. Darien remembered how he always thought Serena was like a rose. He breathed out slightly and kneeled down before Serena. Serena breathed in nervously. Only yesterday...he had kissed her...it had been her very first kiss...now this...it was amazing...she couldn't feel more devoted to anyone else. She looked down to him as he layed his head against her stomach for a moment then looked up. "Serena...I've been dreaming of that for so long...but most of all...I've been dreaming of your words..." He said while smiling...his eyes looked to be filled with tears...but he kept them back. "Will you be mine Serena...will you finally be mine...and will you allow me to be yours...?" Serena felt her whole body shake from head to foot. She was tense with emotions. She looked down to him and smiled softly with tears falling from her eyes. "Oh yes Darien...oh yes...I'll be yours...I'd have done anything to be yours..." She said threw tears. "..But I'm not sure if I can ever let you go...ever...Serena..." said as he Darien stood once again before her as their eyes met again and he wiped away her tears gently and leaned down kissing away a few he had missed. Serena only smiled "I want to be with you forever...and longer..." she whispered softly. Darien held her close to him for a long time. Neither of them spoke and Serena buried her face against his chest. Neither could have imagined how long they stood there, at some point or another they had sat down and Darien's arms were still wrapped around her frail waist and her face was still against his chest. The moon had already come out into the sky and both felt a serene all around them, welcoming their new love and knowing that it would only bring them greatness. They were thinking of that though. Both were just at peace. Something magical had happened between these two..once..enemies. Both were overjoyed and happy. They felt an intense warmth surrounding them both and they felt... for once in their lives...completely whole. The moon rose over them and it seemed to send it's brightest, most beautiful rays of light down on the two lovers. They remembered the storm of a few days ago...and both smiled at the memory. That storm had brought them together...and they thought...it was definitely...a storm to remember... @--}--- @--}--- @--}--- @-}-- --{-@ ---{--@ ---{--@ ---{--@ *The End* ************************************************************* Golden Usagi here.
