The Early Couple
	

	It was back when the two were sent back to Earth to start a new life. 
Unfortunately, Darien did not start of in the right key. 
	
	“ Come on Mommy! Come on Daddy! Let’s go for a car ride.”
	
	His parents giggling in the front seat, him in the back smiling and looking at the
falling rain. Those were his last memories as a family.
	
	The roads were slick and switchbacks aren’t safe in that travel.  The car slipped 
a turn and went plummeting into an ocean below.
	
	“ It’s sad about the parents, but it’s also a miracle the boy survived.  Complete 
amnesia, though.”
	
	“Who am I, I don’t… Darien…Is that my name.”
	
	Darien becomes best friends with a boy named Fiore. They spent all their time in 
the hospital together. But one day Fiore’s time to return home comes.  
	
	“What can I give him, I have nothing.” 
	
	Tears flow from his eyes. A small 3-year-old girl walks by his door and notices 
his crying. 
	
	“Don’t cry.”
	
	She wipes the tears from his face and rests her head on his lap.
	
	“I am today an older sister. I should be the one who cries.”

	“But I have nothing to give to my best-friend for a farewell gift.”
	
	She glances at the roses she brought for her mother who just gave birth to her new
brother Sammy.
	
	“Here.”
	 
	“He should like this.”
	
	“Thank you….?”
	
	“Serena, my name is Serena.”
