Emerging of a Princess Chapter Three by: Sailor Starlite jupiterlightning@yahoo.com Serena ran a hand through her hair as she walked up the steps to the temple. She knew Raye would NOT be happy with her. She winced at the cruel words that would come from her mouth. At least Raye hadn't noticed anything strange when they battled the youma. Tuxedo Mask, did though. And that could be bad. Raye's eyes smoldered with barely surpressed fury when Serena walked in the door to her room. How *dare* she be with Darien? How dare she skip a meeting, how DARE she ignore the call of duty until the last minute, then throw her tiara and walk off??!! She may be the leader, but Raye was sick of it. Serena however, just gave Raye a cool look and took her place beside Amy on the rug. "Serena! What were you doing with MY boyfriend?" Serena smiled. "Raye, he is NOT your boyfriend. And the reason why I am with him...well, that is for us to keep to ourselves. I do not spill my personal life for your benefit, Raye." Serena was still feeling woozy. She realized it was because of her being away from Darien. Serena didn't want to pass out in front of everybody, so she stood up quickly. "Raye, I gotta go. I'm sorry if it seems that I stole Darien off of you. It's not true." She smiled at everybody and practically flew out the door, and down the steps. To get away faster, she changed into Sailor Moon. She lept over the rooftops, and away from her friends. What she didn't count on was running into Tuxedo Mask. Darien recognized Sailor Moon's energy, and on instinct, he transformed along with her. He could sense her clearly, but knew she was not in any danger. For some reason, it was just her. He smiled a little grimly. This was the perfect chance to confront Sailor Moon about that energy she used, and why she was keeping it a secret from everybody. He lept onto the nearest rooftop, and ran into Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon let out a frightened squeek when she made contact with the tuxedo of the masked hero, and backed away a few paces to look into his face. She knew why he was here. He had seen her use her personal energy, and he wanted an answer. Hanging her head in defeat, she told him all that she could. Or tried to at least. She saw two Tuxedo Mask's for a moment, and her world spun crazily. She fell foward, Tuxedo Mask catching her on instinct. Before Serena passed, out she realized how familiar Tuxedo Mask felt to Darien..... When she awoke, she found herself staring into Tuxedo Mask's tender blue eyes. *He* looked at *her* that way? She blused at the thought, and immediatly felt guilty. Tuxedo Mask wasn't Darien, and Darien wasn't Endymion!! Why was she being so unfaithful to Darien. Then she realized with a start, the exact similarity in the way Tuxedo Mask and Darien felt. She never had the opprutunity before now to sense that. She stared into his eyes, for once not hidden by his mask, and she smiled. It *was* Darien. There was no need to let him know that she was Sailor Moon, though..... Darien was relieved when the young superhero woke up. It was just like Serena! Did he have that effect on girls lately? He noticed her intense stare, and decided it was time to get down to business. After all, this girl was *not* his Serena. And he wanted answers from her. "Sailor Moon." He said sharply. Serena winced at his cold tone. It sounded like he was fed up....and she knew that he wanted answers. She didn't tell Darien, but she knew that Tuxedo Mask would not take some half-baked excuse as an answer, and would sense her lies. She took a nervous breath, and began her story. She heard her guardian chuckling in her mind, and she wondered what they knew.... "Okay, Tuxedo Mask. I know you saw everything last night. The enemy was too powerful for me to use my tiara by itself, so I had to resort to the power inside of me. The power of the Royal Family of the Moon." He saw his eyes grow wide, and she bravely continued. "A thousand years ago, I was called Serenity. I lived on the Moon, with my Mother and my guardians. They are the Sailor Senshi. Or they were termed that a thousand years ago. I still can't get used to Luna's strange name. "Sailor Scouts." She shook her head as if to clear it. "Anyways, when I was sixteen, I met Prince Endymion, the Prince of the Earth. We fell in love, although the first meeting did have its pitfalls. I can not remember too much of that time, but I do remember that we were soulmates, and were engaged a short time after. It was not meant to last, however, for a force outside of our world attacked us and our lives were lost. We were reborn, but I never regained my full memories, which included exactly what force attacked, and what my precious Endymion looked like. I also was not meant to regain even part of these memories, for retaining my 'royal' ways, I am putting the true self of me in danger. The only ways I could survive is if I meet Endymion again, or regain the Silver Crystal. I know you are looking for that gem also, but that gem means my *life* my very exsistance to survive upon the planet Earth." She looked at him, pleading with her blue eyes. He was silent, absorbing all of her story. Then he regarded her with a speculative look in his eyes. "Can you survive on the Moon?" He asked. "Perhaps the only way to have Endymion come back to you is if you are on the Moon. That is where your love ended, and perhaps that is the only way it can be regained again." Serena looked at him, shocked. "But...but...he belongs on Earth!" She spluttered. He cocked his head to the side. "And you belong on the Moon. You regained your memories on the Earth, and perhaps he will regain his on the Moon. You have given me all the information I needed. Goodbye, Serena." With that, he was gone, and Serena wondering *how* he figured out who she was. Tuxedo Mask de-transformed and leaned against his bedroom wall, deep in thought. Sailor Moon *was* Serena. He wasn't exactly sure how he knew that, but some part of him knew that. Perhaps it was looking into her clear blue eyes, and seeing the truth. Also, his dreams...of a princess with buns and pigtails, looking like Serena, like Sailor Moon. He wondered...maybe.....could he be Endymion? He thought about going to the Moon, and suddenly he knew that was the only way that he and Serena could truly be together. On the Moon. Now to retive Serena, and tell her the truth of who he was, and what had to be done. Well, minna, its been a long while, but I finally got chapter three out! *Loud cheers are heard* Please send me e-mail! And if you MST me, just tell me so I can laugh too! Ja!
