Prologue: Losing
***********************************************************************

	Serena skipped happily down the street towards the cafe where
Micheal, her boyfriend, had asked to meet her at 9:30 A.M. Talk about
early! But he had said it was important so she had agreed.

	Meanwhile, Darien sat in his nice, but lonely apartment. 
*Where should I go today? What should I do? I'm definitily not going to
sit around here all day!* So with his newly found resolution he grabbed
his jacket and his keys, and headed out the door.

	Serena spotted Micheal leaning against the side of cafe 
building, and she ran up to him and enveloped him in a hug, but was a 
little suprised when he didn't  return the hug,  and she looked up to
see
what has wrong. All she found was his cold eyes staring back at her.
	
	"It's over Serena."
	"......"
	"I don't want to see you anymore."
	"But I--"
	"Goodbye." Micheal walked away from Serena, as she didn't even
try to hold back the flood of tears carving trails down her cheeks. She
ran. She didn't know where to, she just ran. As she crossed a street 
not bothering to see if any cars were coming, she tripped and fell onto
the pavement. And not noticing the red sports car heading directly
towards her, she didn't bother to get up.

	Darien hit the brakes as fast as he could, once he noticed a 
figure lying on the pavement. His car screeched to a halt, and luckily
there were no cars behind him, because his car would have been damaged
if there had. He got out of the car and walked quickly over to the
girl.

	"Excuse me miss, are you okay?" Serena lifted her head, she 
knew that voice.    
	"Darien?" She gasped.
	"Serena?"
