Hey, minna! Here's the first chapter of my story. I'll switch perspectives, so keep up. Even Luna and maybe a few other surprise people will have a few words(or thoughts) to share. So, enjoy the fic-remember, I'll be using the Japenese names and some phrases. I'm not very good, so forgive me... Anyways...you know I do NOT own Sailor Moon. I so wish...oh, what i wouldn't do to have Mamoru Chiba by my side....(dreamy sigh) Arigato, Senshi of Memories Chapter One What? ~MAMORU~ Mamoru walked to briskly to Crossroads Junior High. Haruna-sensei had said that one of her students needed a tutor, and she didn't have the time to give her the attention she needed. "I wonder...could it be that little Odango Atama?" She had seemed pretty cute. He laughed to himself at what her reaction would be to having to be tutored by *him*. He remembered the sad look in her eyes yesterday when she threw that test paper at him. He arrived at the school and went directly to Haruna-sensei's room. He saw a red haired woman there, and a girl with Odango's asleep at one of the desks. She woke up when Haruna-san slapped her ruler on the desk. "Usagi! Wake up!" She woke up *quickly*. "Gomen nasai, Haruna-sensei. I was tired." The teacher just sighed. "Well, Usagi-chan, I have a tutor for you. His name is Chiba Mamoru. Pay attention to him. I have to go. I have a date tonight." She practically flew out the door, but stuck her head back in to talk to Mamoru. She said one last thing to him before she left. "Chiba-san, this is Tsukino Usagi. She needs help in...almost everything. Arigato for helping out. Ganbatte." She was gone then, and Mamoru turned his attention to the girl who looked at him. "Are you my tutor?" She asked. Mamoru nodded. "Hai. I'm to help you with whatever you need." He paused, and smiled at the girl like he never met her before. "It won't be so hard, I will help. We will be good friends, won't we?" She smiled at him suddenly, the grin lighting up her whole face. "Iie." Luna faced the Senshi. All except Usagi, who was having a tutoring session. "Now I want you to be careful around Usagi. She doesn't remember being the Princess. In her mind, we are searching for her still, I guess. But she has the ginzishiou, and knows how to use it, so never fear about that." The Senshi nodded. "We will still protect her, Luna. She is still our friend, and our princess, even if she doesn't remember." Ami looked at Luna curiously. "Why doesn't Usagi-chan remember? I mean, if she has the ginzioushou, shouldn't she know that she is the princess?" Luna shook her head. "Not really. As 'Sailor Moon' she thinks that it is possible for her to use all artifacts of the Moon Kingdom. What she doesn't know is that only the royal family of the moon can become Sailor Moon. Queen Serenity before her was Sailor Moon. Usagi-chan's memory will be awakened after a time, after she earns the right to fully become her previous self. There is still much training for her to go through. And there is another thing...I am afraid that when Usagi remembers her past, she will remember Endymion, too, and we have no idea where he is." ~~Back at the School~~ Mamoru leaned over Usagi to see how she was doing, and he smiled. "Very good, Usagi-chan! That is an improvement. I take it you are understanding it more now?" Usagi nodded happily. "Arigato, Chiba-san! I appreciate you helping me. I understand it so much better now!" Mamoru looked at her. "Please, Usagi-chan, call me Mamoru. Chiba-san sounds so formal, and like I'm an old man!" She laughed, and grinned up at him, wrinkling her nose. "Okay, Mamoru-san, I will do that from now on." She glanced down at her watch. "Oh, no! Rei-chan is going to be so angry! Arigato, again, Mamoru-san. I must be going." She shoved her books and papers into her bag and flew out the door. Mamoru leaned aganist the vacated desk and chuckled. He could learn to like this girl. ~~Rei's Temple~~ Rei drummed her fingers on the table. "I know that we held the most important part of the meeting without Usagi-chan here, but you would think she would at least try to be on time for once." Minako looked up. "Don't harrass her, Rei-chan. She did have that tutoring session, and knowing Usagi-chan, she needs all the help she can get." Ami rolled her eyes with the rest of the senshi. "You don't have any room to talk, Mina-chan. Your grades are not much better." Minako had the grace to blush. "Luna, what was Usagi-chan like as Princess Serenity?" The senshi themselves did not remember all that much about the Moon Kingdom. The majority of their memories would be restored along with Usagi's. Luna considered this for a moment. "Well, she was graceful and smart, the perfect lady. Her hair was long and silver, and her eyes the clearest blue. She had the biggest heart and the strongest powers, only to be matched by Prince Endymion." Rei grinned. "So, the only thing that our Usagi-chan resembles of the princess is her eye color, and her ability to love unconditionally, and her power." Luna nodded. "That is why we must not tell her, for if she is told of how she was, then she will ever feel that she has disapointed us. I do not want to put Usagi-chan through anything like that. She is too open for something like that to happen. It would destroy her." Usagi came running up a minute later, panting. "Gomen nasai, minna! The tutoring session lasted longer than I thought it would." Everyone smiled, they knew Usagi well. "Well, we are just discussing the Princess." Ami said, pulling out her mini-computer. "We still have no clue to where she might be. I have researched, though, that she was the original holder of the ginzioushou, the gem that you use to heal people, Usagi-chan." Usagi looked stunned. "I have something that was originally the Moon Princess's?" She asked. "Sugoi!" (AN: i think that means cool.) Ami nodded. "Protect it well, Usagi-chan. I have a feeling that it is one of the clues that could lead us to our Princess." Usagi nodded. "Minna, I hate to come and run again, but I guess I was later to this meeting than usual. I have to go home for dinner." Everyone nodded, and they all went their seperate ways, Luna following Usagi. ~~At Usagi's Home~ Usagi stared at the ginzioushou, mesmerized by the play of moonlight on its many facets. It shined brightly, almost as if it was calling out to her, telling her something. She shrugged it off and put it back in the brooch, and went to bed. Luna sighed as she watched her charge sleep. It almost looked like Usagi was about to recall something, then she put the ginzioshou away. She knew that Usagi would remember soon, she just didn't know when.
